Wine lovers take note
-----------------------
Olonzac sits at the heart of the Minervois AOC, one of the Languedoc’s most celebrated wine regions. You’ll find:
Bold, expressive reds and rosés at very affordable prices
Local tastings just a few minutes away – Les Celliers d’Onairac in town is a great place to start
Charming vineyards and estates nearby like Château de Paraza, St Jacques d’Albas, and Domaine de Courbissac – many offer tours and direct sales
Don’t miss a glass of Muscat de Saint-Jean-de-Minervois – a sweet, citrusy treat from just up the road
Pair your wine with local cheeses like pélardon (a soft goat’s cheese from the Cévennes) or tomme des Pyrénées, often found at the Olonzac market or served during vineyard tastings.
