Vila de Baixo is the name of this fabulous Chalet in Arrifana Beach.

Arrifana Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the municipality of Aljezur. It is located in the Algarve, southwest of Portugal and in the Costa Vicentina Natural Park.

This Chalet has been for many years, and remains, our family's favorite vacation spot.

For us, the present keeps alive the extraordinary moments we live here as a family and it was with the future generations in mind that we decided to make a major refurbishment (completed in June 2016) that allowed the Chalet to have exceptional amenities.

Once a small beach house with no water, no electricity, and poor conditions, it has seen generations of fishermen, surfers, poets, and sailors grow.

It is these generations that continue to maintain the soul and original essence of Vila de Baixo:

Extraordinary view from patio and even through the glass door annd window during stormy weather, clean, comfortable, well equipped small home worth every step up the steep hillside. Wonderful hiking on the cliffs, along the Fisherman’s Trail (Rota dos Pescadores) and on the beach. Surf boards for rent just down the hill on the walk to the beach. Joao great at responding. Hope to return.

Feel-good place with a dream view

If you stand on the beach and let your gaze wander, you will inevitably end up at the small house at the end of the cliff. You would love to sit there and watch the sunset - we sat there and looked forward to it every evening. The small house really offered everything that made the stay enjoyable, the communication was always helpful and friendly, the short vacation a gift. Highly recommended!

Paradise

Very nice sea view, quiet location. You can watch the surfers from 7am to 9pm. The apartment was very clean! and well equipped. Only the grill could have been a bit cleaner. Parking can be difficult during the day, but we always found a solution. The suitcases have to be dragged up quite a bit, but once you arrived it's totally worth it. Some restaurants can be reached via a shortcut on a narrow path.

A great stay at Arrifana beach

We really enjoyed our stay in the holiday home with our family. The location of the house is perfect. It is in a cul-de-sac and the walk to the beach only takes a few minutes. The view, as the pictures already show, is really breathtaking and contributes to a good rest. Although the house, actually a semi-detached house, is quite small, it is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We received a very warm welcome and the contact with the host was very good. We were given lots of useful information on how to get there and the surrounding area, so we always felt that we were in good hands. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the parasol. It came loose from its anchorage due to rising winds on the slope, which unfortunately led to damage. The subsequent communication and claims settlement were exemplary. Many thanks for a great stay!

Wunderbare Bucht Arrifana

Die Bucht und der Strand sind sehr, sehr schön. Es waren viele Surfer im Wasser, aber es lief alles sehr entspannt ab. Das Chalet bietet von der Terrasse aus einen wunderbaren Blick über die Bucht. Das Chalet ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Übergabe war sehr angenehm. Manchmal sind die Parkplätze etwas wenig. Aber ein rundum sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Wunderbare Urlaubswoche

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche im Mai. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, es ist sehr ruhig. Ein Kritikpunkt waren die kaputten und unbequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich. Ansonsten hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Fantastischer Ausblick

Wir haben wunderbare 5 Tage in dieser besonderen Unterkunft verbracht und waren traurig, wieder abzureisen. Das Häuschen ist schön eingerichtet und alles war perfekt sauber. Die Kommunikation mit João war super und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt (Danke auch an Susana, die uns einen sehr späten Check in ermöglicht hat und unglaublich freundlich war). Das Highlight der Unterkunft ist natürlich der fantastische Ausblick. Wir konnten uns nicht satt sehen und nehmen viele schöne Erinnerungen mit nach Hause. Vielen Dank!

Ferienhaus Arrifana

Wir haben die Zeit in dem kleinen aber feinen Haus mit tollem Ausblick auf die Bucht sehr genossen. Alles was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt ist vorhanden. Auch Joao war immer erreichbar und ein fürsorglicher und umsichtiger Gastgeber. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfekter Urlaub

Optimale Lage der Location, direkt über der Bucht von Arrifana, trotzdem ruhig (nicht direkt an der Straße gelegen)! Die Wellen waren für die Jahreszeit okay, am Wochenende weicht man als Surfer besser an andere Strände aus, je nach Wellenhöhe kann das zwischen 10 und 17 Uhr auch an einem Wochentag sinnvoll sein (extrem viele Surfschulen)

Alles voll im Blick

Toller Urlaub. Das kleine Haus liegt hoch oben über dem Strand von Arrifana und man könnte den ganzen Tag "fernsehen". Im Februar war es noch recht kalt. Der Elektroofen war im Einsatz. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war von Anfang bis Ende perfekt. Es gab auch gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und zur Ankunft ein Set Getränke.
