Casa Emily is an independent rural village immersed in the wonderful Tuscan landscape , in the Valtiberina Valley, only 2 Km from the medieval town of Anghiari, chosen as “One of the most beautiful town in Italy” and famous for the Leonardo Da Vinci’s lost fresco “La battaglia di Anghiari”.
The farm holiday is family managed and the spot is perfect for those who love nature and privacy.

Rustico Emily ( 90 square feet ) is an appartament at first floor, it composes of one kitchen, one dining room, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Kitchen , with stove, is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer , kettle , italian moka and american coffee machine.


It shares the garden with another appartament of the Rustico (that can accomodate two persons ), where you can find its own table and barbecue.

Perfect!

Emilia's place was everything we hoped it would be and more. We spent literally weeks looking on VRBO&AIRBNB for just the right place to stay near Arezzo- when we saw Emilia's house we were sure it would be perfect. And it was! We were in Anghiari for just a few days to see the region's Piero della Francesca frescoes and to get some time away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. We would have loved to stay longer, and even now I am dreaming of going back someday to stay at this lovely, homey, clean, cheerful, quiet, comfortable farmhouse under Emilia's generous care. She was totally available for any questions, utterly kind and gentle with our three young kids, completely generous and thoughtful when our oldest child became ill, and in short, she is the perfect host. The location is superb- within 1/2 hour of Arezzo and 15 minutes to Sansepolcro and Monterchi, and down a long, winding wooded drive - far away from any noise from the road. It is truly in the countryside, but you can still get to town in a heartbeat. We came away wishing we could turn around and go right back - and my 3 kids say it was the best place we have ever stayed. Thank you Emilia - we will think of you and your kindsness and your lovely home often!

Authentisch, charmant und top gepflegt

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser außergewöhnlichen Ferienwohnung in der Nähe von Anghiari. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr alt – und genau das macht seinen besonderen Charme aus! Die historische Bausubstanz wurde liebevoll erhalten und fügt sich perfekt in die ländliche Umgebung ein. Wer das echte, ursprüngliche Italien erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig.Die Wohnung selbst war makellos sauber und hervorragend gepflegt. Die drei Schlafzimmer boten viel Platz, die zwei Badezimmer/WCs waren modern und funktional eingerichtet und passten dennoch wunderbar zum Charakter des Hauses.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeberin – sie war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden mit frischem Obst und Gemüse verwöhnt – eine wirklich herzliche Geste, die unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich bereichert hat.Auch das WLAN funktionierte bestens – dank WLAN-Repeatern war die Verbindung auch in weiteren Zimmern stabil und schnell.Wir haben die Ruhe, die Natur und die herzliche Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Ein Ort zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen – absolut empfehlenswert!

Nette Ferienwohnung mit viel Platz

Die Umgebung ist schön und überall gibt es verschiedene Burgen zum besichtigen. Ferienwohnung war gut ausgestattet und hatte viel Platz. Gastgeberin war sehr nett auch wenn wir Verständigungs Probleme hatten hat alles geklappt.

Ein wundervoller Aufenthalt

Emilie ist eine herzliche und zugewandte Gastgeberin, die freundlich und zurückhaltend ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück lebt. Sie pflegt das Anwesen und somit war auch die Wohnung in einem einwandfreien sauberen Zustand. Salat und Gemüse kommen wir gemeinsam in ihrem toskanischen Garten ernten. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür. Der Standort ist perfekt für Ausflüge. Wir haben dort 3 Tage in Familie genossen. Den Kindern (5-17) hat es ebenfalls sehr gefallen.

Tout était parfait, calme, reposant, dans un environnement des plus harmonieux, avec des propriétaires très gentils et accueillants. Bien qu'un peu vieillot, le gîte était plaisant, vaste et agréable dans son espace et la circulation dans celui-ci. Simplement, le chemin d'accès, très caillouteux, met les pneus à rude épreuve...

An amazing rural retreat

A huge apartment, with all the home comforts, in a stunning rural setting. It would benefit from fans in the bedrooms, which did get very hot, but everything else was amazing.

Schönes Feriendomizil - sehr zu empfehlen

Geräumig, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr nahe bei dem schönen Ort Anghiari und dem schönen San Sepolcro. Arezzo gut und schnell zu erreichen, nach Siena, Cortona und Assisi ca. 1 h und noch so manches andere, was man entdecken kann wie die Klöster La Verna und Camaldoli. Wer sich darüber hinaus auf die Spuren von Piero della Francesca machen will, ist hier an der richtigen Stelle. Und eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin! Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hoffen auf einen weiteren Urlaub hier! Silva

wonderful experience by Emily's House

I live in Milan, and I was by Emily's house wice. The first time, during the summer two years ago, when my brother came to visit me from Korea, I wanted to intorduce him Tuscany and Umbria. My brother was so fall in love with the place, and so we came back in the spring of this year with his whole family. It is a wonderful place to spend days, weekends and maybe monthes. Podere Infranciani is a farmhouse with rustic furnished, simple but tastefully decorated. The property is managed by the friendly and gracious hostess Emily(Emilia), ready to talk and meet our needs. The house is located on the Tuscan hills in the middle of the vineyards, and down there is also a small farm with animals, that's an idyllic and funny place for children, teenagers and adults. For those who love Renaissance art, besides the wonderful nature, Podere Infranciani is located in a strategic position to visit Anghiari (do you know the famous battle of Anghiari?), Sansepolcro (the city of Piero della Francesca) and Monterchi (x visit Madonna dal Parto by Piero della Francesca), which places are 5-10 minutes away, Caprese Michelangelo, the birthplace of the great artist Michelangelo is 20 minutes away, Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi, Arezzo and many other wonderful places are less than one hour's drive. I enjoyed unforgettable experiences, and that I would gladly come back again. I recommend the Emily's house to everbody (singles, couples, families) who likes to relax in peace and quiet, and take the time to visit the sights of culture and art. Thanks a lot to Emilia! Inkyung

Ottima posizione , ottima accoglienza !

Anche quest'anno ho portato i miei amici americani in visita ad Arezzo e Sansepolcro, sono appassionati d'arte e quindi vengono a vedere le opere di Piero . Scegliamo sempre questa casa principalmente perché si trova nel centro della Valtiberina ma anche perchè Emilia ci accoglie sempre con molto calore. La casa è grande, pulita e si trova immersa nel verde ma nello stesso tempo a 5 minuti dal bellissimo borgo di Anghiari. Speriamo di tornare ancora !
