Villa Galatea is a splendid residence by the sea, consisting of 4 independent apartments, situated in Stazzo, a small village on the Ionian coast, close to Acireale. Set just a few steps from a low cliff with direct sea access, the complex boasts a beautiful pool and a large, well tended garden with lawn. Recently built, the property includes a main villa - that together with the owners' apartments houses the holiday apartments Corallo, Lampara and Conchiglia - and the annex - Casetta - which stands in a more secluded area of the garden. Tastefully furnished, all the apartments have their own private terrace and parking space and are equipped with internet wi-fi and satellite tv. The surrounding area offers a variety of places to visit: from the renowned, touristic towns of Acireale, Catania, Taormina and Syracuse to the charming fishing villages of Aci Trezza and Aci Castello, to the unique, natural landscape of Mount Etna.

A very relaxing stay

For somebody looking for a very relaxed and laid back stay, it*s the perfect place. Special thanks to Pippo and his team, who took care of everything needed. A lovely place in a lovely surrounding.

Amazing stay, recommended

Everything is as described and great about this villa!! Beautiful territory, clean and great facilities, friendly hosts. The only two things to bear in mind: 1) if you are not renting a car it won't be easy to get to; 2) access to the sea is not great - it's beautiful and indeed only a few meters away but if you want to spend time on the beach it won't be the "beach" that is right in front of the house as it's just rocks - hard to get into and not very nice to swim around them.

A beautiful place

This is a lovely 2 bed apartment, which is a separate part of the same building/house in which the owners live (together with a couple of other holiday rentals) - all share the same pool a few steps away. You are basically staying with the owners of the property, in the vicinity of their home, so you need to be comfortable and respectful of that. It's set in beautifully kept gardens (with direct access to the sea) and there's also a small trampoline, swings, table-tennis table, table football, darts board etc which are also shared. This property shares a very large patio area with one other rental, but has it's own table/chairs and outdoor sofa area. The property itself is as in the photos - good air-conditioning and hot water, a large fridge freezer and everything you need in the kitchen, lots of wardrobe/drawer space etc. Overall, a really nice place to spend a few days - couldn't have asked for anything else.
