Nestling in the authentic Provencal village of Camps La Source is the stunning Napoleonic mansion "Le Vieux Presbytère". This property provides a wealth of beautiful features that will enchant all visitors. The village of Camps La Source enjoys amazing views and is surrounded by beautiful Provencal countryside. Camps La Source provides the visitor with the opportunity to enjoy an authentic 1000 year old French Provencal village away from the crowds of tourists. The village is situated about 10 minutes from the medieval town of Brignoles - county town of the Var region. In addition, the surrounding area is littered with excellent vineyards and the wonderful seaside resorts of the Cote d'Azur are only 40 minutes away.

A magnificient place to stay, to profit of its facilities and surroundings.

The place is fabulous, with an incredible patio and outdoor swimming-pool. The home is very well equipped with all you need, and is just magnificient, inside and outside. The location permits to visit the whole Cote d’Azur within acceptable travel time, in order to visit the surroundings, or it permits to enjoy the home itself if the visitor wants to relax. The landlords are very kind, and everything is perfectly organized. A MUST to be there, definitely. Stephane

Beautiful home in charming village

My husband and I enjoyed a week at this gorgeous home in the charming village of Camps-la-Source. Both the interior and outside pool and gardens of this house are thoughtfully and beautifully appointed. It's just a lovely home to be in. The owners are amazingly helpful and attentive with information about the home and recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. We enjoyed dining at the village restaurant, exploring all the nearby villages and just hanging out at this lovely get-away. I can't recommend this rental highly enough - would love to come back!

Durchweg ein sehr besonderer und toller Ort. Das Haus ist ein Juwel und der Innenhof ein Platz, der alles bietet. Viele Plätze zum liegen, verweilen, essen und zusammensein.Fiona und Lester sind bezaubernde Inhaber und Vermieter und halfen uns mit Tipps für Besuche, Ausflüge und so konnten wir besondere Orte erleben, die wir sonst vielleicht niemals gefunden hätten.Der Umgang war herzlich, die Abwicklung souverän, ohne kühl zu sein, die Übergabe vor Ort auf Englisch und Französisch. Alles sehr angenehm.Im Dorf gibt es nicht viel. Aber das Nötigste ist da. Und von Donnerstag bis Samstag hat ein nettes Lokal auf dem Platz auf. Die Besitzer waren zu uns und den Kindern mehr als zuvorkommend. Es war ein Urlaub, der uns allen lange im Gedächtnis bleiben wird.

The most beautiful house

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The owners provided us with all the information needed before we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The house was everything we dreamed of and more and situated in a lovely small quiet town 😊

Amazing

Wij hebben met 2 gezinnen samen een heel mooie vakantie gehad. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Lucy en Stephanie. Ze waren ook heel behulpzaam wanneer mijn schoonzus een dokter nodig had. Het huis was heel proper, praktisch,en heeft een goede ligging. Fiona en Lester gaven heel veel info over plaatsen om te bezichtigen en waar we best konden gaan eten. en daar hebben we ook gebruik van gemaakt.

Un petit coin de paradis

Le vieux presbytère est un oasis de paix au centre du village. Maison de caractère très bien décorée . Chaleureux accueil et très bonne communication avec les propriétaires qui sont des gens charmants . Nous y reviendrons!

Beautiful

The house is wonderful with huge rooms and an amazing outside space and pool. The small village has a bakery, bar, restaurant, grocery store and tabac within 5 minutes walk. There are a myriad of towns and villages within an hours drive.

Prachtig huis! Alles was zeer netjes, contact met de eigenaars is super! Alles is aanwezig in het huis. Je hoeft zelf eigenlijk niets mee te nemen. Een echte aanrader. Airco was misschien wel leuk geweest. Maar dit is dan ook het enige. Blazers zijn er dan wel meer dan voldoende aanwezig. Wij gaan zeker nog terug.

Une oasis de fraîcheur et de charme au centre d'un joli village varois.

Cette propriété au coeur d'un village a été restaurée avec talent. La piscine entourée d'un jardin fleuri est un magnifique espace extérieur qui met en valeur les murs de l'église et la maison . Les intérieurs sont spacieux, la maison est très agréable à vivre, les chambres et les salle de bains sont lumineuses, chaque objet de décoration à sa place et quelques jolis meubles anciens ou verts pastels ajoutent une note délicatement colorée à ce bel intérieur blanc. C'est une maison où l'on se sent bien dès le premier regard. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et visité une très belle région. Merci Fiona et Lester pour les courriers que nous avons pu échangés , les conseils et adresses que vous nous avez donnés, ainsi que l'accueil dans la maison par René. magnifique propriété

Dans un cadre hors du temps, la propriété offre une havre de paix dans un environnement préservé. On est dans une partie de l'Histoire française avec ce presbytère accolé à l'église du village. Les cloches sonnent toutes les heures y compris la nuit mais on s'y habitue vite. Charmante décoration et équipements très complets, on ne manque de rien. La piscine est un plus pour se rafraîchir pendant les chaudes journées d'été.

Relaxing holiday

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful property. The house is a lovely, spacious home and stayed nice and cool inside in very warm weather. And the garden and pool are spectacular ...exactly as shown in the photos. Camps la Source is a quiet French village, but it is an easy 45 minute drive to the coast and all it has to offer.

A very relaxing week in Provence.

I would highly recommend a stay in this property. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The pool/outside space was lovely, with plenty of sunny and shady spots to relax. Christophe, who managers the property locally, met us on the first day and was a wealth of information about the local area. We enjoyed the village of Camps La Source, which has a fantastic bakery, a local shop and a restaurant just around the corner from the house. We also visited the local farm and enjoyed their amazing goat milk ice cream and cheese. The wood-fired pizza restaurant just outside the village was also visited twice during our stay as the pizzas were great and they were happy to cater for one of our party who was vegan. A great holiday and we hope to return soon.

Amazing week in an amazing home

Our group of friends and children had a lovely week in this property. It has everything you need, and more, for a comfortable stay. The pool was a welcome retreat from the heat wave and the house itself stayed nice and cool! Communications were great throughout and Christopher did a great job of checking us in and giving us advice on places to visit throughout the week.

We came to a very nice house, very clean and we saw a house with nice rooms, several bathrooms and all the equipment we needed to a very nice holiday. The garden was also very nice with a very nice and clean pool and several place, whre we could relax and enjoy the sun, and we could also find shadow, if we wanted. It wa the perfect holiday!! Vieux Presbytaire was exquisite!!

Our holiday was fabulous!! The home and gardens were stunning with attention to every detail. The bakery around the corner kept us stocked with fresh croissants and baguettes-- the restaurant up the street was phenomenal-- but the overall relaxation we enjoyed was due to the charming villa we called home for those 7 days. I already can't wait to go back. C'etait magnifique!!!

Amazing house! Adorable little village

We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend a week at Le Vieux Presbytère during July of 2018. The house, the garden, the village and the area - everything was beyond our expectations which were high to begin with. If the opportunity should present itself, I can only recommend this beautiful mansion. The backyard bordered by the church is romantic and cozy, and as such perfectly suited for children of all ages.

The Best Home from Home in France

Having stayed in holiday rentals in France for the last 20 years I have to rate this one as a gem of a find. From the moment we arrived welcomed by Lucy and Stephanie showed us around the house and made sure we were comfortable before they left, nothing was too much trouble and happy to help us with any questions both living very local to the property. The owners have been incredibly easy to deal with and just an E mail away with information to make our stay that special family holiday. In the centre of a village (not that you would know) as behind what looks to be the original property door and lock (fantastic) lay a little oasis in the centre of the village, that lights beautifully at night and comfy sun beds, andseating. Everything about the house suggests this has been done to a high level and is a real home from home, with cupboards full of general things (salt, pepper, Sugar etc. (all the owners ask is if you use it replace it). A fantastic built in BBQ and a lovely pool with the back drop of the old church again a beautiful addition to the garden tranquility. (be mindful the church bells chime every hour but after a day you are used to it.) There is no car parking on site but this isn't an issue as just moments away are two large free car parks that appear secure (we didnt have a problem). The bread shop in the village prepares the best bread I have ever eaten in France and the local bar (and pizza take away Thurs - Sun) is worth a visit. You can easily park the car and forget to for a week here only popping out for provisions (large Intermarche around 5 minutes away by car). Cafe l'universe is also worth a visit good value and good food in Brignoles and the staff very friendly (and speak English!!!) as my French is not so good.... St Tropez just an hour away and Monaco worth a visit just over an hour with easy access from the property onto the A8 (Brignoles Junction 35). All in all this has been one of the best family holidays and property's we have stayed at as a family of five. We felt the luxury and were spoiled accordingly by this lovely house, I hope it will remain a hidden gem for some time as we will definately be returning I have no doubt in the future. Thank you to Fiona and Lester for the loan of your special home in France, (Note whilst the photos of this property are lovely and give the feel of the house they in no way do the property true Justice you need to Exeprience it to appreciate it. Fantastisch en sfeervol huis
