Lovely villa inside but overly 'rustic' outside space, and at the end of a very long, rough track.
Much of this place was good, inside the house is comfortable with good beds, good quality linens and well set up bathrooms. Place was cleaned at the end of the first week which was nice and linens changed. The kitchen is a good size but poorly equipped - no knives that actually cut, only half a food processor and few/no baking dishes e.g. for lasagne (it IS Italy!). The outside dining space and table is not as shown in the photos - the table is smaller, the chairs do not have cushions and the dining area paving is extremely rough so making sitting unsteady. The barbecue grill does not fit so barbecuing takes a long time. Pool area is fine although there are only 6 loungers there for a house for 8 adults - we had asked prior to the stay for enough parasols there, arrived to find only two and had to chase the management company who supplied two more a few days later. No house or area specific information in the house so had to work out how to use things and where things were - some general printed information from Terretusche, the management company and a quick bit of instruction on arrival but some more specific information on bakery, shops, restaurants, how to use the pizza oven, where various external lighting is etc would be useful - and reasonably expected. The house is about 2km at the end of a very rough track, feels very isolated - which means it is nice and quiet but was a bit of a shock on arrival and you have to learn the route - and hope you don't meet another vehicle! Insects - ants, mosquitos and scorpions are a bit of a presence and a nuisance, garden is sprinkled frequently - starting at 1.30am, which also leads to a lot of standing water areas which add to the insect presence - we liked the little wild boar which broke through the electric fence a few times! No air conditioning in the main house but fans had been provided as requested. Would we stay there again - no, too rural (although of course this may be the appeal for some, but it's a trek to get onto the main road) and the outside areas and kitchen really need attention and to be smartened up more to come up to the 'luxury' standard for the money.
