Luz de Sol is a fantastic newly built beach side villa 25 meters from the beach

The magical island of Majorca is where this stunning newly built villa is situated and is opposite the beautiful beach of Cala Sa Marjal,in Costa de Los Pinos, Son Servera. The entrance to the villa is through a large gate with inside parking, if required. The villa is situated just outside of the small resort of Cala Bona on the East coast of Mallorca. Once a traditional fishing village, Cala Bona has retained its original charm and remains a small working harbour and plenty of good bars and restaurants. The villa has 4 bedrooms all en suite with an additional guest bathroom. It has been built to a very high specification with marble floors, under floor heating, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and separate laundry room. The main lounge has a wood burner, dining table, two settees and two armchairs; four large windows open up to the garden and pool area. There are another two living rooms which include a library/reading room with views of the mountains and beach and an upstairs sun room with a vaulted beamed ceiling with entrance to two terraces which boasts 360 degree views of the Levante Mountains, Son Servera Golf course and the beach. There is a fully equipped kitchen which features an island with seating area for more informal dining. The bedrooms include one double bed, two with king size beds and one room has two single beds. Three of the bedrooms are at the rear of the house, each room having double doors which open to a private area, with a stunning view of the mountains. All bedrooms are ensuite. The main bedroom overlooks the pool and has views to the beach. This bedroom, also en suite, has a bath as well as separate larger shower. There is a large 12 meter swimming pool, with sun loungers and sun shades. The villa is within 10 minutes walking distance to Son Servera golf course. There are two televisions, internet enabled and wifi. There are various terraces with outdoor dining tables. A travel cot and high chair can be provided. Bathroom towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided . With the benefit of underfloor heating this villa can be used all year round with excellent golfing. Golfers will associate the name of the town of Son Servera with the local golf course; Son Servera Golf is Mallorca’s second oldest course and opened in the 1960's. In 2012 the course expanded to 18 holes. Diving fishing and walking and cycling around the Island are easily accessible from this location. This is a wonderful holiday home on a magical island.

Why they chose this property

Having bought a piece of land several years ago we commenced building in 2012 and completed the build at the end of 2016. My husband and I both work in the UK and we project managed the build ourselves,along with our architect. We are more than happy with how this turned out as we have never been involved in building from scratch before. However, the land, in a stunning location, had to have a very special house built on it , and I think we have achieved this.

The unique benefit of this property has to be the close proximity to the beach, amazing views and large swimming pool; Plus all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.
