Quinta da Paz Madeira is a large space surrounded by magnificent gardens, decorated with stone tiles, basalt, intricate wood, marble and stained glass that evoke some traditions of our island, as well as national traditions intrinsically linked to our local culture.

Located in the heart of Caniço, near the city of Funchal, the Quinta benefits from a mild climate that greatly contributes to the lush gardens and the varied flowers that decorate its corners throughout the year.

It is 2 minutes from the center of Caniço and a 10-minute drive from Funchal. Quiet and safe area with several nearby services, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, shopping ...
It has great access to public transport and is close to the highway.
Near the beach of kings magos and the beach of garajau.

Beautiful but energetically stressful

As a high sensitive traveler, I cannot recommend this beautiful appartment. It looks as it is presented here.Closely located to two strongly frequented roads causes environmental stress. Unfortunately I missed to check this before booking.WLAN is on all night which was another stress factor for me. The appartment is very quiet when you keep doors and windows closed. Opened you here the streets and sometimes barking dogs during the day. It’s not a totally quiet spot.Quite far to walk up and very steep path from where hotels, coast line, shops and restaurants are. you have a car no problem but you will use it probably all the time if you are exhausted from a hiking day.
