Typical Sicilian villa is located in a quiet area surrounded by orange groves about 2 km from the sea. It offers free Wi-Fi, an outdoor swimming pool with heated whirlpool next to the swimming pool, terrace overlooking the garden and swimming pool, barbecue, garden and large outdoor areas. The villa consists of: kitchen, living room, two bedrooms with double bed and a bathroom with hydromassage shower. The villa is located halfway between Catania and Syracuse, in a strategic position, in fact the main cities of historical and artistic interest in eastern Sicily are easily reachable: Catania, Syracuse, Noto, Taormina, Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina, Agrigento, Ragusa, the Etna volcano, Pantalica, Vendicari, the Cava Grande lakes in Avola, Morgantina ... Furthermore, for lovers of the sea and the sun, the most beautiful beaches of the coast are easily accessible: the Lido di Noto, the Lido di Avola, the natural oasis of Vendicari, the well-equipped beach of Pozzallo and the nearby cliffs of Castelluccio.

A very nice and peaceful holiday

A traditional villa facing the Etna with a large swimming pool among lemon and orange trees. The place is very quiet and well located to visit the East of Sicily.

Great villa and very friendly owners

We very much enjoyed our 2 weeks holiday at Case di Loco Castro. We would have liked a little more storage space but other than that the accommodation is fantastic. The pool, the Jacuzzi and the setting in the beautiful countryside made it a very relaxing stay. The owners no longer resided on the estate but visited frequently always asking if there was anything they could do for us. We can really recommend this place.

Die Vermieter waren nett und hilfsbereit.Leider waren die Informationen für das Ferienhaus nicht vollständig.Der "Private Pool" stand zwei weiteren Gastfamilien zur Verfügung.So waren zeitweise insgesamt 3 Gastfamilien ( 2/2/4 ) Personen auf unmittelbarer en Gelände anwesend.Es standen jedoch nur 5 Liegen zur Verfügung.Das führte z.B. dazu, dass in den ersten 3 Urlaubstagen die Liegen bereits am Vorabend mit Handtücher reserviert wurden.Der angekündigte Wirlpool war nicht betriebsbereit.Nach Informationen im Internet besteht dieser Zustand bereits seit einigen Jahren .Die anwesenden Hunde waren nicht störend. Superschöner Pool

Angenehmes und geräumiges Haus, schöne Terrassen, den Pool haben wir sehr gerne und ausgiebig genutzt. Das Kücheninventar war ausreichend, hätte etwas mehr sein können. Es gibt einige Haustiere (2 Hunde/1Katze), die uns uns immer begrüßt und auf der Terrasse Gesellschaft geleistet haben.

Großartiger Aufenthalt. Tolle Gastgeber

Wir hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt. Enza und Luciano sind sehr gute Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft erfüllt genau was sie verspricht. Von Luciano haben wir frische Eier bekommen und auch eine Kostprobe von seinem Olivenöl aus eignem Olivenanbau.Vielen Dank!! Il Paradiso è qui!

Meravigliosa sistemazione per visitare tutta la Sicilia orientale. Le fotografie non rendono giustizia a questa villetta spettacolare con visuale mozzafiato sull’Etna; gli ambienti sono davvero molto grandi, puliti ed arredati con classe (c’è tutto il necessario, ivi compreso forno, microonde, barbecue, phone, ferro da stiro con asse e perfino un frullatore). Immersi nel silenzio, ma in piena sicurezza. I proprietari: Enza, Luciano e il figlio Angelo sono sempre presenti. Gentilezza, cortesia, disponibilità e con un senso dell’ospitalità che supera di gran lunga l’ordinaria diligenza (si fanno letteralmente in quattro per te: dalle indicazioni stradali ai consigli per ristoranti e per le visite storico-culturali, fino ad una piacevole compagnia, offrendoti, oltre ai prodotti biologici del loro orto, anche delle cenette deliziose). Ho appena trascorso tre splendide settimane in questo posto (assieme a mio marito ed a mia figlia di 9 anni) dove tornerò anche il prossimo anno. Super consigliato per coppie e famiglie che cercano un po’ di tranquillità.

La gentilezza, la disponibilità, la cortesia, l'ospitalità, far conoscere la storia, la cultura, l'arte, la cucina della nostra Sicilia sono importanti per rendere un soggiorno quanto più piacevole possibile. Ottima soluzione per una vacanza in famiglia

Sistemazione perfetta per una vacanza in cui si voglia abbinare relax e conoscenza delle bellezze del territorio. La posizione è strategica: a 20 km da Catania, 30 km da Siracusa. Alloggiare qui significa sperimentare cosa significa l'accoglienza siciliana: davvero eccellente. A parte l'appartamento pulito e attrezzato con una bellissima piscina e idromassaggio, una volta partiti rimane il ricordo della disponibilità davvero notevole dei proprietari, impegnati a farti stare al meglio. Da consigliare! Speriamo di tornarci.

Great villa with superb pool

We have just returned from a stay here. The accommodation is superb, very clean and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi are excellent. The villa is set among lemon groves and is very peaceful. A car is essential as there is little within walking distance. I would certainly recommend this property. Note: the owners live on site and there is also another villa that shares the pool - this is not clear from the listing. But this did not impact on our holiday - in fact it improved it as the owners are very friendly and supplied us food from the garden as well as local information. Thanks you for a very relaxing holiday.

Trés joli domaine

Domaine de plusieurs hectares d'orangers et de citronniers super bien entretenu, et géré de manière familiale, perdu en pleine campagne mais à la fois proche des accès autoroutiers une voiture est indispensable. la Casa di loco Castro est composée d'une maison principale divisée en 2, l'une destinée à la location (où nous logions à 6) mais convient plus à une capacité de 4, d'une magnifique piscine et d'un jacuzzi. Nous avons eu un problème de dégât des eaux dans la salle de bain heureusement que le Papa, M. Luciano était là et il a fait en sorte de solutionner le problème immédiatement et que le restant de notre séjour se déroule le plus paisiblement possible. Si vous avez le moindre problème ou conseil, préférez M. Luciano il sera à votre écoute et de bons conseils de plus très intéressant. les ++ : propreté des lieux, le calme diurne, la disponibilité de M. Luciano +++++ (vous êtes adorable) les -- : jacuzzi en panne, quelques aboiements nocturnes des chiens de la propriété (pas précisé sur l'annonce, gênants lorsque l'on a un sommeil léger ou pas l'habitude), installation et/ou remplacement de moustiquaires,
