Leaving the town of Agios Nikolaos, after a picturesque drive of 11 kms towards east, direction to Ierapetra - Sitia after the village of Kalo Chorio over the crystal clear water beach of Istron, we are reaching "Anemone Seaside Traditional Homes" complex.
Anemone complex is situated on a hill slope above the main road, quiet, peaceful and with breathtaking panoramic views of the Mirabello bay and the town of Agios Nikolaos. Enjoy our beautiful landscape surrounded by rugged hills and mountains of Crete full of wild flowers, cedar trees, herbs, ideal for walking or hiking while enjoying the view of Mirabello bay.
The 14 in total Maizonettes and Apartments of "Anemone" are fully furnished, offering free Wi-fi internet access and can be described as follows:
The Maizonettes offering two floor each, with a living room at the first level and a separate fully equipped kitchen. A wooden ladder takes you up to the second floor where there are two twin bedded sea view bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and W.C. All Aparment rooms are offering individual verandas and can easily accommodate 4 guests each.

The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning. A short drive to the city and you can bring home yummy greek seafood to cook yourself in the apartment.

We loved it here. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. Nice traditional property with lots of terrace space. Cooking facilities weren’t great, could have done with a microwave. Wouldn’t put us off returning though Friendly hosts

A beautiful spot for various vacation experiences

We had a very nice stay at Anemone Traditional Homes. Our hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment itself is clean and cozy. The "Golden Beach" is in walking distance as well as some very good and affordable restaurants. We also visited beaches in the South of Crete, which are just a 40 min. drive away. On days we did not want to swim we visited towns and sights like Heraklion and Knossos and of course Agios Nikolaos and the island Spinalonga. When you are interested in walking we can recommend the gorge in Kritsa and the Richtis gorge. Both are not too far away from the apartment and worthwhile a visit. Die Ferienwohnung war nett und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Der Empfang war freundlich und unkompliziert. Was nicht ganz der Wirklichkeit des Beschriebs entsprochen hat, war die ruhige Lage. Die unten liegende Hauptstrasse ist sehr deutlich zu hören. Ebenso war eines der zwei Zimmer durch Geräusche der technischen Installation beeinträchtigt. Die sanitären Anlagen (Dusche und Warmwasser) funktionieren sehr mangelhaft. Die nahe liegenden Badebuchten sind sehr schön.

Perfect apartment for 2 with that sea view

This place was great. The view is as good as the photos- maybe even better! It’s family run and they were all very friendly and welcoming. There was a thoughtful welcome pack of essentials (wine, water etc). The apartment was clean and well equipped. Air conditioning worked well to initially cool the room at night but the apartment stayed cool anyway. Daily maid service. Short walk to town for tavernas and shops or the local beach, which was lovely. Easy to find. We’d definitely book again. Thanks.
