Character stone period villa for up to 15 near all amenities with swimming pool

Welcome to Le Grand Lamarque! The following details are flexible guidelines which can be discussed prior to the contract being entered into:

1. Guests up to 15 are welcome while the minimum booking is fixed at 10 people. A smaller party may book but the price will still be fixed for 10 guests.

2. Parties with guests under the age of 25 are not permitted. This is a dwelling more suitable for families and adults travelling together.

3. Pets are unfortunately not permitted except in very special circumstances for allergies reasons.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE HOUSE:

The lounge is an open space with a dining area sitting 16 people around the antique table and decorated in a traditional country style with Victorian and French antique furniture. Above it, there is a mezzanine with 2 bar football tables. The dining room composes the other half of this open space and has an antique Victorian table which sits 16 people.

The main white kitchen is simple in design and is fully equipped with an oak table and 6 chairs.

There is a TV room also equipped with a small library containing children's books, mostly in English. The laundry room is adjacent to the TV room. It has a washing machine, a dryer, a double sink and some laundry products which are usually complimentary for the first wash. This laundry room leads to a separate wing of the property also accessible through an outside corridor which contains an extra large bedroom. It is equipped with an ultra modern double bed with LEDs and hanging space for clothes. It also contains a mini gym facility.

On the 1st floor, the property offers 1 double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, 2 King size bedrooms and a king size bed and a comfortable sofa-bed in addition to a family large bathroom. There is a newly refurbished double bedroom and a separate bathroom on the ground floor. There is a very large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed in a separate wing of the house offering accommodation for the 3 guests.

There is a cot, a high chair, 2 toilet seats and a step for infants to help them feel confident and independent in their use of the facilities. This home loves families and endeavours to provide assistance to everyone, including young guests who are the owner's favourite clients!

There are 2 kitchens in the property including one in the main house and the other one at the swimming pool.

The pool is set in the front garden away from the main property. The lights inside the pool create a visually pleasing effect in the evening.

The pool is heated for extra comfort during the months of November to May; the region has a warm climate and temperatures can reach up to 43°C in the summer. Sometimes, it can be cooler but as a general rule, the pool will not be heated during the months of June to October.

The open plan pool kitchen has an electrical hob, a sink with a waste disposal unit, a fridge, some well appointed shelves, 2 tables sitting 12 people altigether on the pool area and another round table in the shade sitting up to 8 people comfortably.

There is a front garden just outside the main lounge with a pleasant stone table and seats, ideal for afternoon tea or early evening drinks. The owner calls it her "Gin and Tonic station"! There is also a garden around the pool grounds and one at the back of the house; all 3 being accessible via a long drive.

The property features free unlimited Wi-Fi and a phone to receive calls from your friends and family.

This unpretentious but imposing villa is situated in a village where farming constitutes the majority of activities. Tractors might drive past at a slow speed and make some noise, and the occasional farming smell might reach you when a gust of wind blows towards the house.

The neighbours are not too close to the house; they are far enough to give you almost total privacy. They are all well-intentioned, helpful, and welcoming!
