The LAVINIA apartment, located on the first floor, offers visitors a welcoming home, located in a peaceful country village, ideal for spending holidays in Tuscany and combining, together with a stay of rest and peace, enjoying the view and the beauty of the surrounding hills, the advantage of being in a strategic position to reach the most important Tuscan cities of art. To give some examples: Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Colle di Val d'Elsa, Monteriggioni reachable by car in just 15-35 minutes by car.
The village dating back to the fifteenth century includes some completely renovated rural structures surrounded by greenery. Located on the top of a hill in the heart of Chianti, the village is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and a few steps away from a splendid Romanesque church dating back to the year 1000 mentioned in many history books.
The accommodation maintains the original characteristics of the Tuscan farmhouse and includes 2 completely renovated apartments located in the main house. The 6x12m swimming pool is located on a hill a few meters away from the house, from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the Sienese hills.

Total Tuscany

The whole experience was perfect. Marida's communication was excellent and she was able to accommodate a last-minute change without any fuss. Marida and her son Tomasso were attentive and communicative throughout our stay, and very helpful when a thunderstorm resulted in a power cut. They also provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The location of the apartment was even better than expected, the views and surroundings were simply breathtaking. The accommodation itself was clean, spacious and authentic. Talciona is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marida as a host. We hope to return next year.

Traumhaft schöne und ruhige Lage

Wie schon so oft sind wir dieses Jahr wieder nicht enttäuscht von FeWoDirekt. Wir trafen ein schönes Appartement in eine wunderschöne Lage der Toskana. Rundherum grüne Hügel mit Weingarten und Olivenplantagen. Marida (die Hausverwalterin) vermietet hier drei Ferienwohnungen: unser Appartement, noch einer oben unser und gegenüber uns. Gemeinsam konnten wir über das Pool und ein Garage verfügen. Während unser Aufenthalt war es sehr heiß, und gab das uns Abkühlung. Leider kühlte es ins Appartement dann nachts kaum ab.. Mit offenen Fenstern schlafen war auch nicht dabei, denn es gab nachts sehr viele Mücken. Trotzdem haben wir eine wunderschöne Zeit da erlebt. Auch wenn etwas ist, hilft Marida direkt, z.B. unser Klo hat nicht richtig gespült aber am nächsten Tag stand der Klempner schon vor der Tür. Die Ferienwohnungen liegen an eine Sackgasse, also kaum Verkehr. Das Dorf/Ortsteil Talciona liegt etwa 3-4 Kilometer von Poggibonsi wo Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind.

The Perfect place

We’ve spent 3 weeks in Italy. One week in three different locations. This place was our favorite among the 3. It’s centrally located, quiet, and charming. Shopping was close by but we were still in the heart of Tuscany and Chianti. Our flat was cozy and comfy. Marida made sure we had everything we needed. Next time we come we will stay for a month! Perfect stay, lovely appartment!

We had a lovely stray in this appartment! The area is wonderful, appartment is close to supermarket and other shops (3 minutes drive), but far enough to enjoy a lovely quiet stay! There is a nice swimmingpool with lovely view over the countryside, and all touristic places are close enough to travel by car. The appartment itself was lovely! Everything was available, nice beds, an inside parking spot for the car and the owner of the appartment was really helpful for all kind of questions! We had a lovely stay with 2 children aged 8 and 11 who loved the pool, and our dog loved the area around the appartment. As said before, the appartment is in a quiet part of a really small village, on top of a hill, so if you love the tuscan countryside we really would recommend this appartment to stay!
