Unit #118 has been remodeled with Brazilian Granite Counter tops in Kitchen and Bathroom, and Italian Porcelain floor tile throughout. Very popular Unit due to it's decor, amenities, location, and proximity to the Pacific Ocean, approximately 11 feet.

Honokeana Cove is in Napili, West Maui, just a quarter mile south of Napili Bay's sandy public beach. The gated property surrounds a secluded cove with a breathtaking view of the nearby island of Molokai from every unit. Experience Old Hawaii in one of these 38 low-rise units surrounded by luxurious tropical landscaping.

The peaceful cove offers some of the best snorkeling on Maui, with an abundance of coral formations, tropical fish, and green sea turtles. A sparkling heated swimming pool only steps from your condominium adds to the dreamlike atmosphere of this tropical paradise.

NEW TO VACATION CONDO RENTAL? If you're used to giant hotels with mile-long hallways, you'll find Honokeana Cove a refreshing change. You won't have hotel features like daily maid service, 24 hour desk, restaurant, gym or spa. Instead, you'll enjoy comfortable condos with full kitchen, bath and bedroom(s), perfect for couples, families and groups to relax together. We're not a "party" destination, because we keep quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. There are just 38 units in this gated oceanfront property, featuring basking sea turtles and never ending sunsets. We can't wait to welcome you!

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.

Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 45 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 45 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Add one cleaning fee, damage waiver and Hawaii tax (17.962%) to all rates.

Free Parking for one vehicle. No Resort Fee. Hawaii taxes remitted by Honokeana Cove Rental Association LLC, Tax ID 067-626-5984-01. This unit has ceiling fans for temperature control.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent accommodations in a small secure complex with incredible views. Very private with beautiful, well-maintained landscaping. Nice pool. Great access to snorkeling in the cove with lots of fish and turtles. Unit 118 has a well-appointed kitchen with newer appliances and tasteful decor better than what is depicted in the photos. The beach and picnic equipment were greatly appreciated. The lack of AC was not a problem once we learned to control the heat with the shades. Our only real complaint was the guest who scheduled private swim lessons for her three year old child everyday in the pool - a little presumptuous. Our only suggestion would be some comfortable chairs on the lanai rather than just patio table chairs.And a more personal management style would probably be better.

So relaxing, well equipped kitchen needs and seasonings (last year's unit didn't have so much as a salt shaker), close to groceries and great restaurants. And the turtles! so fun to snorkel with and watch them sun themselves on the rocks just below us. 118 is the best unit for the view. Love the pool, too. We had a smoke alarm battery go dead and it took a few days to get a replacement, and we waited a day to get one of the screens hung back up after the wind blew it off the window. Minor things so don't let this stop you from booking now!

This trip was impacted by the tragic fire in west Maui. We were without ANY power at The Cove. Su and Ray stepped up and made our stay as comfortable as possible under the trying circumstances of no power, no news and the unknown.

The Perfect Hawaiian Getaway

I was a guest at Honokeana Cove in 2005, and the place is just as magical as I remember. The view, the ocean and pool access, the turtles (!!), all perfect. The condo itself was super clean, beds were comfy, and cupboards were stocked with everything we needed. And not to be overlooked, the Honokeana Cove management, from pre-vacation check ins to on site management, were attentive, prompt, and professional. Our stay was lovely and we can't wait to return. The Cove is so much better than a fancy Hawaiian resort. It's the ideal Hawaiian home away from home.

Only issue are the visitors in the units behind 118 that don't observe the quite time of 10 pm to 8 am. Perhaps a sign on the wall next to the bedroom facing those units would be helpful or a reminder in their arrival package that they can be heard quite clearly in the units across from them.

Amazing Property right on the Ocean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the unit. It is right on the water and has amazing snorkeling including many turtles each time we went out. The view was so nice that we ate dinner every night on the lanai rather than going out to restaurants. The property is well appointed and looks just like the pictures. We will definitely stay there again!

Everything was clean and updated, ad the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals at the condo. The lanai was very spacious for our party of four my husband, our 4.5 year old daughter and my mom), and we enjoyed having breakfast/coffee and dinner outside. The view from the lanai was spectacular. Our daughter loved seeing all of the turtles directly below the lanai every evening.It was a bit noisy at times with a larger family with kids above us running around at 5am. And the unit is near the laundry room, so if you're in the master bedroom and like the windows open, you may get some early morning/late night noise from people walking by.The staff that we came in contact with were all very nice and accommodating. The property is meticulously taken care off--we was the gardener almost every day, and ever morning we saw the resident manager cleaning the pool, grills, etc. Parking spaces are a bit tight but there are plenty of spots.The cove was amazing for snorkeling. Fish and turtles applenty. And it is only for those staying at HC, so it's never crowded. If you want a sandy beach, Napili Cove beach is a short 5 minute walk away. The Napili Market and shopping center nearby is a nice resource for any groceries you need.We've stayed at many different places on Maui. Honokeana is our new favorite. Thank you for the beautiful memories.

The condo was spotless upon arrival, the grounds were very well-maintained and the customer service was spectacular. We enjoyed snorkeling in the cove numerous times, enjoyed the Sunday morning craft fair in the Ace Hardware parking lot, loved walking Front Street and enjoyed an amazing burger with drinks at the Maui Brewing Co. My Sister has been coming to the Cove for over 20 years. I was finally blessed to share in her piece of paradise on Maui. I highly recommend Honokeana Cove to everyone!

2 weeks of quiet paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a long time returning visitor (20+ years) the Cove is perfect. Quiet and peaceful. No swim up bar. No restaurant on the premises but the Gazebo, Sea House, and Merryman's are within walking distance. Just guests occupying 35 units enjoying the cove, watching the whales, spinner dolphins this year, and the beloved turtles (highest count this visit was 19 of them sunning themselves on the rock beach below the seawall). Nearly every visitor says hello in the morning and are friendly throughout the day. Cove was clear most days so snorkeling was a joy. Almost everything one sees at the Ocean Center can be seen in the cove at one time or another. Lovely. Simply lovely. Office staff is friendly and helpful. On site manager Rey is pleasant and approachable. Property as a whole is immaculate. We've rented our particular unit repeatedly over the years and it is always neat and clean. We hesitate to recommend the Cove to others only because it is already difficult to obtain a reservation for next year and we don't want the "secret" of how good the Cove is to get out.

But the overall comfort inside was deficient. Couch and chairs had scratching material so was not good for relaxing. For anyone who likes a comfortable bed on vacation the master bedroom king will disappoint. Because we couldn’t sleep well we rotated and my daughter switched beds with me since we also rented unit 104. She who is much younger also complained that the mattress was very uncomfortable. . No support, and slumped in like a hammock. For a stay with such a splendid view I would expect more effort in making the interior a restful experience.
