For mountain lovers, both in winter and in summer, we present the "Alessandra Maria" Location. It is an apartment located in Riola di Vergato, in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, 70sqm, cool in summer and warm in winter.

In Riola you can visit the renowned Castello della Rocchetta del Conte Mattei, recently reopened to the public and the church of the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto.

In all the periods of the year you can take advantage of the legendary Terme della Porretta, just 8 km away. The ski resort of Corno alle Scale, where the great skier Alberto Tomba began his skiing career, is 45 minutes away by car and is more than suitable for ski lovers in winter, as well as for lovers of summer excursions in summer.

Also in summer, just 10 minutes by car you can reach the artificial lake of the natural park of Suviana, where many tourists fall back to do water sports such as windserf, sailing, canoeing etc.

Summer in particular is very rich in country festivals in all the neighboring villages, with music, food and beverages. The Bolognese food and wine, however, together with some typical features of mountain cuisine, make a stay between Emilia and Tuscany always welcome. Riola is in fact exactly halfway between Bologna and Pistoia.
