About David Catalino
Grew up in New York State. Attended University of San Diego School of Law and fell in love with San Diego and been here for 35 years. This beach house started as a family venture with my mother and sister and we still take care of all details ourselves.
Why David Catalino chose Mission Beach
This beach in South Mission (Lifeguard Tower 10) is the widest and longest beach area in San Diego (South Mission Beach stretching north to Pacific Beach). There are volleyball courts and room for any beach game you want to play. You can also find an area of sand all for yourself. The property faces south and gets sun on the patio all day long. Sunsets are visable all year long from the beach as the sun sets to the west over the water.
What makes this Townhouse unique
Large patio to grill and enjoy the sun and your family. Mainly families with young children stay in this area of South Mission Beach which is quiet, but the action of Belmont Park and the roller coaster are only a short walk away. Other Attractions: Seaworld San Diego Zoo Balboa Park Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum Seaport Village Gaslamp Quarter Torrey Pines Golf Course Old Town San Diego Village of La Jolla Coronado Island Petco Park where the SD Padres play April to September

Wonderful extended weekend!
A perfect location for a quiet and relaxing time with my husband. We found so many casual places to eat with amazing food. Loved our walks on the beach!!
Relaxing till the end
We had a wonderful time till our last evening The upstairs unit was rented to animals . They jumped around till past midnight , woke us up jumping around again in the middle of the night and then they were up at 6 am. More jumping and stomping.
It’s sad to say that manners are something people think they can do without when they go on vacation
The family upstairs celebrated an early Christmas Eve that night so sorry for that noise. If you would have contacted me I would have made sure they quieted down.
Great location, original beach house
Wonderful location in quaint beach house, beautiful patio. Since it is an original beach house you do hear the neighbors upstairs. We appreciated the extra amenities like beach gear, extra towels, soaps at all sinks and dishwashing needs.
Perfect for our family of 5. There are not a lot of supplies in the home for cleaning or spices for cooking. We did wish we had more towels and toilet paper. Excellent beach toys and chairs in the garage. We could hear the neighbors above us but we knew that going into this and the planes. Overall was a great place to stay very close to the beach.
It was a great beach cottage with a garage parking. It was steps to the beach. Perfect beach getaway !
We were looking for a relaxing time in San Diego. This house was perfect. It was close to the beach and many other things that we could walk to. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I would come back if we’re ever in the area again.
