Beautiful Chalet in Munds Park! We took our 19 year old son. We planned a long weekend of fishing and exploration. Due to rain fall most of the weekended up staying
We had a wonderful time at the Juniper Chalet! We saw shooting stars, satellites, chipmunks, squirrels, lizards,Stellar's jay birds, hummingbirds, finches, bats, and even a deer. This was an amazing way to relax and unwind. We also had great workouts walking the neighborhood. We will be back. Thank you!
Great place to celebrate the Fourth of July and get out of the triple digit temperatures. The owners were great. They stocked the place with everything we needed. It’s a perfect place to stay for a couple.
Juniper Chalet was a peaceful getaway. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. The location in Munds Park was perfect for us , we like quiet and getting out to hike. It was convenient for day trips to Sedona and Flagstaff. Geoffrey was available and easy to reach with questions. I would stay here again.
A family of 4 went for a 4 day stay - had great communication with the host Geoffrey he gave us a notification of the weather and road conditions before we even left home.
Hope to return this summer.
The cabin was fully stocked with everything you will need.
This chateau was perfect for our 16th anniversary vacation. Quiet and comfortable location. All necessities and more were provided. Hosts were awesome as well.
My husband and I came up for a respite weekend from Phoenix. It was the perfect getaway to recharge our batteries. Geoff was a kind host and would get back with me promptly if I had a question. The a-frame windows gave us an amazing view. The fireplace was a favorite and taking a walk up to the old juniper behind the property was a special bonus. The rental was walking distance to a trail system we used to hike to Lake Odell. It was our first time to stay in Munds and I will definitely be recommending this place to our friends. It was a clean and welcoming property. Would love to stay here in the summer months too as an escape from the summer heat.
This is a great cabin tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, backing the forest. It was perfect for our holiday weekend. It had everything we needed, great beds, well appointed kitchen, and a beautiful porch to relax and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature.
Communication from the owner was awesome and the house was a great way to escape the summer Phoenix heat. We especially like the location and the fireplace.

This cabin is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. It's very peaceful and woodsy. The Huge floor to ceiling windows make for an Awesome view, whether your downstairs or in the upstairs loft.
Geoff was an Outstanding host! Upon arrival he called to see if we needed anything and let us do an early check in and late check out. The cabin was spotless and the beds were sooooo comfy!
You won't be disappointed with this Juniper Challet Cabin in the woods!
And in case you have a 🐶, there is a fenced in yard in the back.
Thankful to have had such a warm, cozy cabin to tuck into for Thanksgiving. Everything we needed was readily available. Enjoyed sitting by the fire, watching the pines sway back and forth from the floor to ceiling picture windows. The peaceful, quiet neighborhood made for enjoyable walks. Being in a central location, we drove 45 minutes to enjoy a day jeeping in the backcountry of Sedona and on another day also made the loop to the Sunset Crater Volcano, Wupatki ruins and Grand Canyon. A great stay!
We had such a great time celebrating my partners bday at the juniper cabin! Geoff was very responsive and made sure our stay was the best it could be. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area! The cabin is beautiful, even better than expected, and the quiet serene cul de sac felt like we were away from anyone around.
This is our second time here, and it’s become our favorite place to stay in Munds Park. The cabin is cozy and so welcoming. It is equipped with so many extras and upgrades that really make our stay so pleasurable. We will be back!
The Juniper Chalet is a delightful cabin in Munds Park. It is one of our favorite cabins in the community because of its location and all of its amenities. The kitchen is well appointed, the bedrooms are comfortable and trail access is literally out the back gate! The owners are timely in answering any questions about the property or the area. It’s a wonderful cabin for a relaxing getaway.
My family and I stayed at the Juniper Chalet while visiting my daughter at NAU. We loved staying here! We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee out on the deck and looking at the stars at night. The property was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked and all the pots, pans and dinnerware were in great condition. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the details of this property. The communication with Geoff was prompt and excellent. He was a great host! We are looking forward to coming back here again.

About the host

We love visiting the town of Flagstaff and really enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Snowbowl. We are NAU alumni and are thrilled at the opportunity to have a 2nd home in the charming vacation town of Munds Park, just outside of Flagstaff. This perfect get away is an adorable 1970s mid-century modern/rustic A-frame cabin with wood ceilings , a stone fireplace, amazing views from the large windows, an expansive deck and all located on a lot that backs to the forest..
Why they chose this property
Wonderful vintage mid century style A-frame cabin with open airy views, flat driveway and located on a quiet cul de sac, not on a steep hill or overhang, fenced yard with trail to forest. Small and cozy, quiet and romantic ambiance.
What makes this property unique
Wood burning fireplace, expansive deck for dining and sunset views, open airy large windows with beautiful view from living areas. Quiet peaceful area of Munds Park.
