Oceanfront- 4 Bedroom House with 2 Baths- Sleeps 8
About Lee Nimkoff
Married for abut thirty years, and originally from Connecticut and the Chicago suburbs, we are both in the real estate industry.
Lee Nimkoff purchased this House in 2007
Why Lee Nimkoff chose New Smyrna Beach
We love this house because it is at the end of all the things going on in New Smyrna Beach, just before the Canaveral National Seashore. You you get all the benefits, but none of the traffic and commercial businesses further north. It's only a ten minute drive away, but it feels like you're a world away!
What makes this House unique
The beautiful beach is just out the back door, and it's on the no-drive section, so you don't have to worry about the little ones playing in the sand!

Perfect for our family of 6
This property was perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed the “on the beach” experience, finding wonderful places to eat in The New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach areas, and just relaxing in the house - which had plenty of room to be together or find our own space. The owners were accomodating and proactive to make sure our experience was as promised - example: Lee text us to give us notice of a rocket launch at Cape Canaveral which could be viewed from the beach one evening. Wonderful experience. Thank you!
We're so glad you had a good time. It was particularly nice that you were able to catch some rockets lifting off from nearby Cape Canaveral. No matter how often that happens, it's still amazing to watch! Hope you can come back next year!
New Smyrna Beach is an old ocean port that has a great little downtown. Located about an hour from Orlando, most of the beachside homes and condos here belong to Orlando-area folks who come over during the summer with the kids, or on weekends and some rent them out for a week at a time during the summer, and a month at a time during the winter. About two blocks away are the public tennis courts and the town golf course is about fifteen minutes away. There is one restaurant within walking distance (JB's- about five minutes) and it's casual seafood and drinks. You can also rent a kayak at JB's and check out the manatees that live in the river certain times of the year. Not too many major restaurants here, except for the Subway and a Dunkin Donuts. Lots of little family-owned restaurants and shops. No Starbucks (yet) but we love the Island Roasters Coffee Shop. Grocery shopping is about ten minutes by car, as is the local movie theatre. In the same area, you can rent boats of any size, or go out deep-sea fishing. If you need more beach and nature, Canaveral National Seashore is a half mile to the South and sports some of the greatest sand and nature life. If you're lucky, you'll catch a rocket blasting off from nearby Kennedy Space Center, about ten miles away!
