Wine Trip 2025

We had a wonderful time, and the property was nothing less than perfect. The boathouse was a bonus and stocked with everything we could have wanted to enjoy time on and in the lake. We especially enjoyed the paddle boat. The house was well equipped for our needs, and the deck had a beautiful view.

Grad celebration

We were in town for my son’s graduation from Cornell, and the lake house was the perfect retreat after a long drive.The home was peaceful, cozy, and beautifully set up with everything we needed. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful touches—it truly felt like a home away from home.We couldn’t have asked for a better space to relax and celebrate such a special occasion. Thank you for helping make the weekend so memorable!

Hidden gem

Everything about this lake house is spectacular: The views, the location, the amenities (boathouse, fire pit) and the ease with which everything is handled by the hosts. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer - absolutely recommend for anyone looking to unwind and spend some quality time with family and friends.

Lovely place to stay!

We loved this house!! The owners have thought of everything that you could possibly need. Beds were so comfy and bathrooms were recently remodeled and very nice. I’ve stayed at many VRBO homes on the lake and this one was definitely one that I’d rent again!

Wine Weekebd

It was a pleasure to deal with Abi the owner. She informed us of things in the area. Her place is well stocked with what we needed and was very clean. We enjoyed having a fire in the fireplace when it got cold out. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Would definitely return. Great location and views are amazing!

Stunning sunrises on the lake!

Perfect location, beautiful lake views. Hope to be back during warmer weather to use all the outdoor amenities provided. Host were quick to respond. Very easy checkin. Close to wineries and Watkins Glen.

Great time on Seneca Lake!

The house was comfortable and well equipped, and comfortably fit our party of 5 adults. We loved the water toys and nice dock seating. The small town of Dresden is nice for walking and bike rides. Good dinners out nearby in Geneva and Penn Yan, and ice cream at Mr. Twistee’s. The owners were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay!

Another Great stay!

This is our third year in a row at this house and we continue to really enjoy our stays at this comfortable house with great access and views of the lake. We always use the kayaks and paddle boards. All the key supplies are provided and the communication with the owners always gets quick replies. Hope we have chance to stay again

Destination Relaxation

We had a great time! The house was beautiful, clean, and organized with clear instructions for each appliance. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook, and having restaurant menus was helpful. The property includes a dock and a boat house which were great for fishing and kayaking. We slept really well in the sleep number bed! We’ve already recommended this property to friends, and we can’t wait to book our next stay!

Waterfront treasure!

Amazing space for our family of 6. Great beds, new furnishings, lakeside on Seneca Lake. Soooo clean and inviting. Abi and Winton's place is a must stay. Host made several great winery and restaurant recommendations, too. Dresden is a cute little, quiet town. Loved it. We made use of the kayaks and Stand up board, and if it was warmer would have used them much more! The huge comfy recliner was everyone's favorite spot! Look no further!

GREAT TIME IN THE FINGER LAKES

HOUSE IS VERY CLEAN AND HAS A GREAT VIEW OF THE LAKE. COMMUNICATION WITH THE OWNER WAS EXCEPTIONAL. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY WEEKEND SPECIAL. WILL DEFINITELY BOOK THIS PROPERTY AGAIN WHEN I RETURN TO THE FINGER LAKES.

The perfect place to stay!

This house was absolutely perfect! The house was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. The view of the lake from the living room windows was beautiful. We sat on the deck off of the living room when we weren't down at the dock. By the way, the chairs on the dock rock and swivel. And they are sooo comfortable! I would highly recommend this property to everyone. There were no negatives with it at all!

We brought our family to the lake house for an impromptu getaway and the owners were so accommodating and punctual with their communication. The property is perfect if you have a family. We brought our 3 year old and 7 month old daughters and it had all the comforts of home. Everything you need and grocery is only a few miles away. The neighbors were so delightful and friendly. We did not want to leave!!!

Beautiful view!

The house is great! Very cleanabd the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates,and pots. The updated bathrooms were nice too! The directions/instructions posted around the house were key. There was no confusion about how to recycle, or how to light the wood burning stove. The building down by the lake was a perfect place to hang out after dinner. Close to many wineries and Watkins Glen. Hiking and a wine trail made for a perfect weekend.

Family Vacation

This was my first attempt at a Family Vacation. There were eight of us...my two adult children and their spouses and three grandchildren...ages 15, 8 and 4. The house was spacious enough that we never felt crowded or underfoot of each other. Plenty of room for sleeping and having two bathrooms was a luxury. We all enjoyed swimming off the dock, fishing, kayaking. All our meals were eaten together at the large dining table - wonderful kitchen space as well as an outside grill. We took a day trip to Watkins Glen and all hiked together. The adults took a few wine tours which were within a short driving distance - 5 to ten minutes at most. At night we had a fire in the fire pit and sat around telling stories, laughing, cooking marshmallows. All in all it was fantastic! I give this rental my highest recommendation.

Great Finger Lakes Location

We would definitely stay there again. The house was very nice, well stocked, and comfortable, with a great location. We visited in September 2020. Abi was very nice, and answered all of our questions quickly. The living/dining room has a great view of the lake and the couches and chairs are all comfortable. There's a nice TV and some board games. There's also a nice deck that also has a view of the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathrooms were modern and nice. The beds were comfortable. The "lake house" was a nice bonus, especially the kayaks. We made fires by the water a few nights. They provided wood, kindling, and even paper. There was also a portable speaker so we could play music. Sitting out on the dock in the evening was also great. The only real drawback is that the rooms are on the small side, with almost no room for a suitcase in a couple of them. I think they would be adequate for kids, but you would feel tight if you had four couples there. Also, there were a lot of instructions everywhere, which on the one hand is nice to have, but on the other, not everyone wants to worry about using the squeegee on the shower every day while they are on vacation. Still, I highly recommend the house. The location is quiet, but convenient to a lot of wineries, and the house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation.

This property is right on the lake. Has kayaks, paddle boards, towels etc for fun on the water. Many outdoor comfortable chairs on the dock, the deck and patio to enjoy relaxing. Beds are super comfy. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out inside. Kitchen is ell equipped for making your own meals. It's a short walk to a nice trail for hiking or running on.

The name says it all! This property is amazing!! The views of the lake from the living room and dining area were just beautiful. The quiet neighborhood gave us the chance to really relax and enjoy our girls weekend! The fireplace and multiple outdoor seating areas are just an added bonus. Abi our host was fantastic! She made us feel very welcome and was available for any questions or needs. I would recommend Destination Relaxation to everyone looking for a getaway. I can't wait to return!

My college roommates and I celebrated our 50th birthdays together with a girls weekend. This was a perfect location. We spent the weekend floating in the lake and crafting on the deck and singing by the fire. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend.
