Nestled in a live oak, this one bedroom/one bath home is perfect for a "couples getaway" on a quiet wooded lot only 2 blocks from the beach. 15' in the air and surrounded by windows, you'll see birds, butterflies, and hummingbirds as they sing and feed on the nectar in the garden below! The beach is protected by barrier islands and fed by the Jordan River so it is nutrient rich (great for fishing and birding) and much more like a bay. Our garden is a work in progress with native longleaf pines, coastal prairie field, and various herbs for cocktails. You'll be relaxing in the summer breeze in no time! Please note this an ADULT ONLY (2 adults max) and absolutely NO PETS due to severe allergies and our effort to maintain the natural wildlife which you rarely see in an urban environment,. Not adhering to these rules will result in an automatic loss of deposit. Please confirm these when booking! Check IN 4pm - Check OUT NOON. We are happy to accommodate earlier/later if we can, but you will need prior approval.
Additional linens and towels (other than those provided in bathroom) will accrue an additional cost of $15/sheet set and $5/towel that will be taken out of deposit.

First trip to MS Gulf coast. Had a great time and met so many nice people. The treehouse was perfect for us and we had everything we needed for a great stay.
Pye’s home was beautiful and a pleasure to stay in. Only two blocks from the beach, cozy with everything a couple needs. Her communication was great and we cfelt at home staying here. Would love to stay again in the future!
We love the house, the wonderfully landscape yard that was hidden behind the trees, just a short walk to the beach where we sat with a bottle of wine and watched the sunset. We will try to stay here again next time, even arrange our schedule based on its availability!
First time to Waveland. Really enjoyed this sleepy coastal area. Pye’s property was exactly as advertised. It was well equipped for our 3 night stay.

Great place to get away from it all
Very private place to relax, but close enough to amenities that you don’t feel like you’re away from everything. Owner is fantastic and responsive. As advertised and more.
This home was perfect for our summer getaway. Very clean, lots of privacy, and well maintained. Stocked with everything you may need and plenty of extras. Close to clean beaches and short drive to Bay St Louis. We enjoyed driving to Biloxi for a Shuckers Baseball game and made a stop at the aquarium.
We arrived to find Pye’s place exactly as described, but maybe better than we expected! Such a beautiful and peaceful spot, so tidy and organized, and in the perfect location for any vacation. We would absolutely stay again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!!
I rented this house for my son and his fiancé . They liked it so much that they contacted the owner about buying it ! Pye has a very special location and the house is adorable !
This is an adorable clean and truly romantic cottage.
You feel like you are camping with the stars while having all the comforts of home. We will return again!

Perfect romantic retreat or singles get away
This property is well equipped and maintained. The short walk to the Waveland Pier and the close proximity to the charms of Bay St. Louis made my weekend at the Beach House in the Trees perfect. I loved the style of furnishings and the attention to details. The downstairs outdoor area is a lovely, quiet spot to relax or entertain. I will definitely stay again.
Our trip to the Eco Tiny house was amazing! Beautiful home and great location. This is not a complaint, only a suggestion. . . possible lighting downstairs on carport and curtains over the sliding glass door for privacy.

Beautiful property close to the beach!
You need to visit this place, this city and this area. What a wonderful experience. We loved it! The bikes were great for going up and down the boardwalk. Short walk to the beach. The house itself is fabulous. Tiny house living at its best! You'll be glad you went as soon as you get there. Don't miss out on a great getaway...enjoy!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house was spotlessly clean and incredibly cozy. Every window offered a view of nothing but pure, beautiful nature. Our only wish was for a television. While we knew from the description that there wasn't one, we thought it wouldn't be an issue. However, we occasionally found ourselves missing it during our relaxation time. Despite this, the house is truly one of a kind. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone! We will definitely love to stay again!
We enjoyed our stay at this perfectly tucked away guesthouse in the trees…
Lots of positives; very quiet, secluded, Perfectly tucked In complete nature - Surrounded by trees and natural vegetation, The size was as described, Had everything we needed for our stay, however it certainly isn’t to accommodate more than two people which worked out for us.
Everything was clean and in its place, Modest amount of supplies in the kitchen and bath.
There isn’t a television or radio that we found however we weren’t interested in that during our stay anyway. Certainly allows you to unplug and enjoy all that that area offers, Most days we started and ended with a Stroll to the beach and back. Perfect place if you don’t need much room & just want to completely unwind w/ a short drive to all the local activities! Would recommend…
We wanted to get away from the daily bustle of our hectic lives, and this was just the location. It was a unique and beautiful place, nestled in trees and covered by foliage. We didn't have to go anywhere else once we arrived! Yet within two blocks we had a welcoming beach, where we walked to, and we enjoyed tremendously at this time of year. There were no crowds, and the water was warm. Then we went back to the lovely treehouse -- it really is unique; one of a kind!
The only fault, and it was not the owners' -- they sent someone to look at the problem right away when we noticed the water from the AC leaking -- was that there was an iguana stuck in the AC vent. This caused it to clog up and make an extensive leak. They cleared the problem as soon as we told them, however, and they even got the iguana out alive, so they were able to set it back into the wild!
A wonderful experience all in all -- I would definitely visit there again. I cannot exclaim more about what a hidden treasure this quaint treehouse really is!
Pye’s Place is perfect for a trip to the beach. Super nice property, very clean, close to the Gulf coast and just down the road from bustling Bay St. Louis but yet, quiet and peaceful. Pye is very nice and is a lovely host. This was the second time staying at the tiny house. Definitely recommend!

Why they chose this property
My dream was to live on the Gulf Coast with a Live Oak, but I couldn't stand the traffic and long waits at restaurants at most beach destinations on the Gulf. I found a gem in Waveland that allows me to be on the water and to enjoy nature at the same time. I know the owners of the shops and restaurants, and they know me. No waiting in lines, like I imagine "old florida" use to be where your "chef" may have been the one who caught the fish you are eating.
What makes this property unique
Modern home on .75 acres all to yourself with walking and bike paths along beach 2 blocks away. Native long leaf Pines, wild flowers, and a window to the local wildlife. Fresh herbs in the garden for use.
