Stone Store Lodge A unique lodge in a prime location.
An architecturally designed lodge with your privacy in mind. Three suites all with ensuites and their own decks. Great location and stunning bush views! A fully equipped Kitchen, boasting several communal areas, inside and out to sit, chat or just relax and enjoy the tranquility of this bush clad haven within walking distance to Kerikeri Township. We offer use of our Pizza oven by prior arrangement and the experience of a bath in the bush. Free wifi. A unique lodge in a prime location.
The space
It has been said by previous guests it is like living in a tree house. Our unique house brings you close to nature with every window looking out on the beautiful bush clad valley that holds the Stone Store basin. We are mindful of the environment. The Stone Store Lodge is in a perfect location, walking distance to two top restaurants, the historic park where the Maori and missionaries first interacted.. and considered NZ's oldest stone building. We are a short drive to many of Northland's top beaches and the Bay of islands with all it has to offer.
Guest Access
You will have access to the whole lodge and garden and by arrangement the Outdoor Pizza Oven and outdoor Bath!
The neighbourhood
Walking distance to the Historic Stone Store, the Mission station and the bush walk to Rainbow Falls. A stone’s throw to a number of world class restaurants and a short walk into Kerikeri town featuring a fantastic farmers market on Saturday and Sunday and also a Chocolate factory! Kerikeri boasts many fantastic cafes, eateries and several award winning vineyards that have restaurants onsite - Kerikeri has it all! A short drive to Paihia and Russell, access to the Bay of islands and all the fantastic tours, cruises and adventures you can take in the islands!

I have had two farms and then moved onto living on a yacht for three yeasr. My children and I sailed it around the Pacific islands.I brought the property 2003, sold the yacht and a friend and I built the lodge over a period of a year.
Why they chose this property
The property is private yet is in the centre of Kerikeri and walking ditance to reastaurants, town and 'Cradle of the Nation' the hsitoric Stone Store basin. I have a yacht, the Bay of islands is a paridise for sailing.
