About this property

Your own stretch of wilderness river only 15 mins from Hastings St, incl kayaks

Noosa 2 in 1 bush biosphere option, with full cancellation refund guaranteed until arrival date.
A unique four acres of quintessential Noosa biosphere with river on two sides and bush on other sides just five minutes from Noosaville. Book a large bright three bedroom house together with separate modern one bedroom studio apartment on 4 acres of magic riverside bush . Both have large decks overlooking different parts of the river. Perfect for families with teens wanting separate space to live, relatives wanting to be together socially but not in each other’s pockets, and friends wanting to be together but not on top of each other. This is the a la carte together option.

A very special piece of Australia right on the riverbank in four acres of bush, five minutes to Noosaville. Long river frontages on two sides, bush park on the third side and long bush drive on the fourth side.

Expansive open-plan house with "die-for" deck in the trees looking down on the river. Birds sit on the deck rail and fish jump in the river below. Swim, fish and kayak directly from the house, in wilderness like setting. Children love the kayaks (we provide 5) for wilderness-like paddling experience (life jackets also provided). Gaze upon oil-painting-like river reflections from comfortable lounges on the ultra-large deck. Breakfast with the fish (mullet) jumping and the birds singing (but please don't feed the friendly magpies!). Kangaroos, kookaburras, water monitors and bush turkeys live in the adjacent bush.

Sit around a fire by the river cooking snags, under the stars and listening to the mullet splashing. Maybe the kids have a line in the river (fishing gear provided). Buy green prawns from Woollies delli counter to guarantee bites (use the same day).

Then five minutes to the amazing choice of restaurants along the Noosa River on Gympie Terrace (Noosaville), 15 minutes to Hastings Street shopping and Noosa's renowned main beach and surfing. Truly memorable day trips to Fraser Island in 4WD buses, and to the beautiful Noosa River Everglades by fast launch. Short trips to Aussie World, UnderWater World and internationally-renowned Australia Zoo.

Parents unwind on the deck while children adventure below!

Minimum booking is two days. The house can be booked without the studio apartment (sleeps 6 adults). Search for property number 9181671 which provides photos and reviews of the house.

We rented both the house and cottage and it was just perfect for our extended family. A beautiful, private spot for a chilled out Christmas

Fab rural stay close to everything
Stunning bush Creekside setting but still close to shops & all Noosa has to offer. Really enjoyed spending time with family on deck, down by creek & fire pit. Our 2 dogs had an absolute ball. Lovely creek to kayak in with fishing & crabbing gear available. House & cabin had everything we needed. Owners lovely to deal with

We loved our stay!
We had such a great time. Kayaking, fishing, sitting around the fire at night. Such a peaceful, beautiful location with no neighbours in sight. Serene and slow paced. Our stay was perfect.

We live in Canberra and our house on the Noosa river system is our future retirement paradise! This will be when our nine Canberra based grandchildren have finally flown the nest. In the meantime this unique 4 acres is loved by our beautiful guests for its tranquil bush, pristine kayaking, riverside camp fires and natural life. We are former sheep farmers and ,much as we enjoy the bustle of Noosa, it is so nice to return in the evenings to the real and tranquil Noosa biosphere

Why they chose this property

You can enjoy Noosa in a uniquely Australian bush environment. Wilderness kayaking from the house, fishing from the house, beaches at Noosaville (5 mins) and Hastings Street (12 mins) or swim in front of the house, surfing on Noosa Main Beach, restaurants and cafes at Noosa Marina (4 mins) Noosaville and Hastings Street (restaurants are really world class), gorgeous coffee and muffin stalls along the river banks at Noosaville, river cruises, visit famous Eumundi markets, Sunshine Coast theme parks, day trips to Fraser Island and Noosa Everglades, walk in Noosa National Park. Then there is 4WD driving up the never ending ocean beach up the North Shore (drive up the beach to Double Island Point or through to Rainbow Beach, stopping for a fish in the surf where a gutter looks good, and nudging along the intimate sand tracks through the Cooloola National Park). If sand driving, fishing and exploring the Cooloola National Park does not completely fulfil, there is the super elegant shopping in ultra-chic Hastings Street, and increasingly in the fashion shops in Noosaville. All that makes Noosa so famous internationally is at your fingertips if you can bring yourself to leave the house!!!

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with the house because it is privately nestled in four acres of intimate bush by a tidal , swimmable, river, but ever so close to the bustling delights of Noosa and Hastings Street. There is really no other property like it in the area - a true "two-in-one", and we are truly fortunately to have chanced upon it twenty years ago.
