Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Disliked: Check-in
Overall, we enjoyed our time at Hilton Hawaiian village. The pools were great, and my kids loved the waterslide. Nice to have calm waters for paddleboarding in the lagoon. The rental was clean and the heated toilet seats were a nice bonus. We loved the balcony!A few reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: the listing said one of the bedrooms had two beds (a big reason we booked this rental) but it only had one. Second, the kitchen held the bare minimum but nothing more (no kitchen towels for example), which made it hard to actually cook. We had difficulty getting beach towels from the resort (there are none in the rental), as they were often out by mid-afternoon. The employees at the towel exchange desk didn't tell us until mid-stay that there was a well-stocked towel machine. No extra beach gear as we've had at other rentals (snorkels, boogie boards, etc).

Classy apartment with a million dollar view
I couldn't have been happier with my recent rental in Hawaii. The entire process was easy and I was beyond pleased with the property and the price. I had spent a lot of time researching places in Hawaii to take my family. Every year we spend the spring break somewhere together and I try to make it very special. This apartment literally made our trip. The bedrooms were comfortable, modern and clean. We had a large living room and full kitchen which saved us money on meals since there were six of us. And then to top it off the view was amazing. We had access to a lagoon, a beautiful beach and several fantastic pools. My grandsons were on the go the entire week. Thanks for a great rental!!
Had a great time at the Grand Islander. This building is one of the newest properties and it shows. Apartments are modern, well stocked and comfortable. Beautiful ocean view terrace. Nice small amenities like sponges and individual laundry and dishwashing detergent, shampoo, soap and conditioner. 1cleaning per week so don’t expect daily but that was fine for us. Only complaint is that check in and check out are hectic. The elevator capacity and staff cannot handle the fact that seemingly everyone is checking in and out at the same time. The 10 am check out time doesn’t help matters. But overall a very convenient and comfortable stay.
We had an amazing stay at this property. The room was very nice and we had a great view of the harbor and beach. We were close to the lagoon and pool, which was perfect. The service at the resort was extremely good. The communication with property manager was great. Overall we had a great trip.
Great ocean view property in the Hilton Village. Check-in was easy and garage is attached to the property. Garage was confusing in the beginning but you get use to it right away. Shops and restaurants are located street level and the pool and lagoon are an easy walk from the property and the beach access is next to the lagoon. I would return to this property without hesitation. The property is within 5 minutes from Ala Moana Center or the main street of Waikiki. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Very nice unit with kitchen & laundry
The accommodations were great! Beds comfortable, nice view, bedrooms on opposite sides of the spacious unit to provide privacy, and very quiet...you don't hear neighbors. Free laundry on the floor. Although this was a condo with limited services, the Hilton staff were very attentive and helpful if anything including clean linens, ice or extra cleaning was needed. I would certainly recommend renting from John and his company Travelscowt. His overall communication was perfect, and he provided the documentation required for check in timely.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a great place
The 2 bedroom 2 bath condo in Lagoon Towers we rented was clean and nice. The condo is on the back side of the building and has a view of the marina and the ocean. We had a good time.

Great location on Waikiki beach
Loved our stay at the Hilton Lagoon Tower this past week. Renting through John was easy, any questions I had were answered in a timely fashion. We found the lagoon tower to be nicely situated on the property, being set to the outside you could choose whether you wanted to enter into the Hilton shopping areas or just bypass them and use the main sidewalks for easy access to shopping, restaurants and even a small grocery store. It was a 20 min walk to Ala Mauna mall and a 35 minute walk to the other end of Waikiki so the options were endless. Prices at the Hilton restaurants were slightly higher than the other resort area restaurants. We especially loved the Cheesecake Cafe & the Outback. If you are looking for a luau though bypass the Hilton and take the day trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center as it was amazing! If you find that you have an early checkout and a late flight do not hesitate to ask for a day pass to the owners suite. They will gladly provide you with one so that you can lock valuables up for the day, and then return later and shower and freshen up before your flight. The only downfall to our condo rental was the location in that we overlooked the lagoon and the luau as well which was noisy in the evenings. We worked around it, enjoyed watching from above or closed the balcony doors during the show portion but really it was just between 7 and 8 that it was the most disruptive. We would not hesitate to rent from John again, and if staying in Waikiki would be looking for the Lagoon Tower.

Great stay for New Year!
We love Hawaii, Hilton Village and now Lagoon Tower - perfect spot for our family of 4! Not cramped, so we could all have space.
Walked to most places of interest and hired a car with ease for exploring whole island.
It was a pleasure booking with John, felt confident with whole process.

Great stay over Christmas!
A wonderful experience in Waikiki in the Lagoon Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel. Working through John was seamless and enjoyable and we'll certainly use his company in the future. Only wish the two bedroom units could rent for days other than Saturdays to Saturdays since we had to move elsewhere for four days. Two couches would have been nice since our two grandchildren didn't want to share the pullout. So it was cushions on the floor for one of them. No problem with elevators for us, even at Christmastime. But a tip, use Charley's taxi for airport trips with more than two people. A $29.00 flat fee each way.

Great experience! Thanks John!
I booked a two bedroom ocean front unit for our family of four. Everything was as described and our family truly had a wonderful trip. Thanks John for helping to put me at ease when booking and providing referrals to allow me to book with greater confidence. We stayed in the Lagoon tower and the only issue we had all week was the busy elevators - there are only 3 and they are the same used by service personnel so sometimes had long waiting times. The property has several good restaurants and lots of shops although I definitely recommend getting off property and exploring all that Oahu has to offer! The North Shore is spectacular!
