This review is very unfair. The photos were taken by a professional photographer. This listing has received many 5 stars incuding recent ones. In fact the last 9 ratings for my mother Marilyn's listings have been 5.0 and many compliments include how accommodating she has been to guests. The kitchen contains many useful utensils but may not be equipped if you are entertaining many orher guests. My mother Marilyn is at the Jersey Shore and all a guest has to do is contact her and she will provide what is needed. Did the guest request any of these additional items? In terms of construction at a neighboring house, this is a property owned by someone else and is not our responsibility.

This two rating is very unfair and communication with the guest was very difficult. If you notice, the previous two guests gave this property a five rating and many have been very satisfied with this property. We are not a full service hotel and do not provide unlimited toilet paper and garbage bags. A roll of toilet paper was put in each bathroom. However when a guest needs something we are very accommodating. For example, when this guest requested more toilet paper and garbage bags, she was given $22 to purchase them. First, the property description states that there is room for 6 people with 2 bedrooms so it does not state it comfortably fits 8 people as the guest states. We have a cleaning service and would have been happy to address this guests' issues if they were brought to our attention. New door locks were just installed so that may account for dirty fingermarks on door handles. In terms of amenities, brand new silverware and dishes were purchased and there are plenty of kitchen items provided. A colander and cutting board are provided among the kitchen items. We do not supply hair dryers. In terms of windows, we deal with the Shore climate where it is not possible to have perfectly cleaned windows when there is limited time between guests to prepare the property during the summer season. In addition, this property was just renovated during the off-season. Overall, I do not believe that this guest's review is indicative of other guests' experiences and this property is rented throughout the summer season with return customers every year.
