PROPERTY DETAILS: The "Garden View" is 1 of 3 residences located in the Beehive- A historiic 1830 barn converted and updated located in the Village of Westfield (1812). This fully furnished & equipped lower unit has a king bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, linens, Cable Smart TV & Wi-fi. Spilt unit A/C and central heat. Each unit in the Beehive has its own private entry, private deck and electric grill. There is a laundry room on the premises. CONTACT US, if you need 30 to 60 days and VRBO shows as BLOCKED. See VRBO listing 4219203 for our 3/2 and 7127984 for our 2/1. . LOCATION: The Beehive is located just off the Portage Trail & near I-90, on the Lake Erie Wine Trail. Its within walking to restaurants, Parkview Cafe, Brazills, Larry's Wings. Near Portage Pie, Banks, library, park, antiques, grocery, and more. An 11 mile drive to the CHAUTAUQUA INSTITUTION. Located in the WINE REGION there is even a LOCAL BREWERY nearby to visit. Golf, fishing, BARCELONA HARBOR BEACH, Lake Erie within 10 minutes. Timmermans' for produce and the Saturday Green Market. RATES: A minimum booking of 4 days will be accepted, if available. Discount rates available for weekly, monthly.

The rental was spotless, the neighborhood was quite and close to a grocery store and restaurant. We loved that there was a laundry room that we could use. We would stay again.

Fantastic

The property was clean, neat, and user friendly. Communication with the owner was extremely easy and any requests or questions were promptly answered. The proximity to Chautauqua Lake, Lake Erie and Chautauqua made this a great place to stay. It was a home away from home.

Westfield yellow hoyse

We enjoyed the view out the back window overlooking two big willow trees and grapevines in the distance. The porch was a wonderful feature with a table for dining and enjoying the outdoors.

The Garden View

This is my second time staying at this property. I was as pleased this time as I was the first time. The property is kept immaculate and looks really nice all the time. The unit itself is always clean, tidy and in good repair. I plan to use this location as a permanent destination for my future visits to this area. I stayed here in May and the grape season had just begun. This stay was in October and the fall foliage season was fantastic. I would recommend this property to all my family and friends.

Why Westfield?

Grew up in this area, loved it. I was called away for forty years and returned. Friends I grew up with said "Why Westfield?" The answer is simple...it has character, history and has spent the last forty years like I did...trying to make something of ourselves. Good job Westfield, your mother would be proud of you! The Garden View is one example of "Why Westfield", the property has history and makes you feel comfortable. Keep up the good work!

Rick and GG, are currently working towards their retirment and currently spend their time between their home in Westfield and their family in Florida. Rick is from Chicago, go Cubs! GG grew up in New York and Florida. There are pictures of our family in the activities photos. Above is a picture of Doc our Sun Conure and Rick's constant companion.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the property and saw its potential. We are restoring the property, having already renovated the apartments and most of the house (built in the mid/early 1800's. Our focus now is landscaping, we have a garden our guests are free to help themselves. We've planted trees, blueberries, lillies and many items. Hoping to add a gazebo and hot tub, so come stay and see us grow!

What makes this property unique

The location. Vineyards, vineyards and more, the concerts, the hiking, easy walk to eats and grocery. Near fishing, the Chautauqua Institute, Niagra Falls, and lots of activities. The air in the summer is often cool at night and warm during the day,
