My place is close to Moffat - which is equal distance between Alamosa and Salida. It is the launch pad to the fun things to do out here in the middle of no-where. IE: Great Sand Dunes, hot springs, Hooper pool, UFO park, alligator park, etc!, parks. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the people, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets).
Comfy queen bed, small dining&kitchenette w/ basic tableware, pots n’ pans. Each room has a coffee maker with organic coffee & sugar. We also provide creamer and tea. TV with Roku (Netflix provided) Organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash & hair dryer. Quiet, yet in town.
We are a tourist destination for the great hiking (all levels), as well as many spiritual retreat centers, peace, quiet and beauty. We can be a sleepy town with many smatterings of Fun. There are several hot springs 30-40 mins away, as well as the Great Sand Dunes, alligator park and UFO park.
There is no formal check-in. I give you the combination for the door to arrive on your own timing. Check-in 3:30 pm and check-out 10:30am. I am open to meeting all my guests needs/questions. However, unless they come to me - I give them total space, peace and quiet! Checking out is simple. All you do is leave ! If you have any questions or problems - please call or text.
The views are awesome in town, majestic and unique with the ever changing and beautiful lighting. We have a unique town - full of spiritual retreats and outrageous hiking for all levels. It is fairly quiet - yet we do have fun for such a sleepy little town. There is also horse riding a few miles away.
Town is a few blocks big - walking is the best public transport! While you can walk to anything in downtown Crestone this is a very remote area without public transportation so you do need a vehicle.
Crestone is one of the most beautiful places to be for hiking and spiritual adventures! There are many hikes with 14,000 ft peaks and for all levels. Also, the peaceful majestic beauty attracts folks from all over the world that come to attend one of the many retreats at the dozen or so spiritual centers. A few miles away are horse riding/stables. 30-45 minutes away are Joyful Journey Hot Springs - famous for it's healing waters. Also there is the most magnificent Valley View Hot Springs - focused outdoors with incredibly beautiful vistas. Valley View is clothing optional. Both offer massages.

My partner and I stayed here for a couple days to do some hiking in the area. It's a quiet little town/property that was good for relaxing after the day
Very nice updated room, clean and quiet. Within walking distance of everything and the park is right out the front door. We will be staying again soon.
We felt right at home in the heart of Crestone. We had everything we needed and the location is easily walkable to the grocery store and the restaurants. Deer families visited every day. We will stay again.
Staying at the Bliss Inn was everything I expected and more. The hotel is walking to just about everything the town has to offer with even more with a short drive. I woke up in the morning to a beautiful snow covering that looked magical. Wonderful time there with some old friends.
This place is exactly as described. Great communication with host. Place was easy to find and parking was easy. Room is clean and nice. Love the market and cafe across the street. Bonus: this area is dark sky. We just drove a few miles out of the town and we saw amazing night sky.
Room was clean and ready for us. Great if you stay awhile because of the kitchenette but we did not. Awesome that the included but spray, you'll need it in the summer, BTW the spray worked. Crestone is a place like no other and convenient to Great Sand Dunes Nat. Mnmt.
The local deer greeted us right outside our door at sundown! Right next door to the grocery, and coffee shop cafe. Only a block from the town park and babbling creek. Climb to the mountains in minutes. Oh, and don’t miss the Art gallery next door. Crestone has some amazing talent for such a small community. Besides the spiritual shrines to the south, only a half hour north is Joyful Journeys Hot Springs. Wonderful places to nourish the soul, even if you only have 2 nights!

The room was on the backside of a building, in that you had to tromp through a scraggly yard with overgrown grass/weeds/dirt. This was not very convenient with luggage. The room was nicely appointed and in a quiet city. The owner did a good job of communicating the code and how to get ahold of them.
Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it
The instructions for check in went to our junk mail. I did not realize. The owner was immediately response to our request on how to check in. The room was very nice and clean. Comfortable, quiet get away. Looks way better in person. I think you should update your online photo. I think you would see an increase in bookings. Thank you so much.

The walk from the parking area to the room is very rocky, and for those with physical challenges, it is difficult. We were approached by a man, “looking for someplace warm to sleep”, which in such a small location as Crestone, was suprising and somewhat unnerving. The room did not seem fresh-rather, it seemed like it had not been opened up for a while.
I brought my dogs here over the July 4 holiday to get away from fireworks at home. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location faced the town park and was within walking distance of a number of shops and restaurants. The stove was a nice option although I didn't use it because my stay was so short.
The bathroom was spacious and stocked with organic body care products as advertised.
The room was supplied with fans and a window air conditioner which was nice because, unfortunately, Crestone itself was LOADED with mosquitos at this time. This made it difficult to keep the door open for the view and for air circulation. The owner provided essential-oil based insect repellent as well as a bug zapper, both of which I found invaluable!
Great experience Our room was very clean & comfortable, had everything we needed Location is convenient to town. our small dog was happy to b there also Thanks
The room was ok but getting to it wasn’t. No path to follow that was good enough to pull rolling suitcases to. Had to carry. The town was very small. Not many restaurants. The kitchenette did not have an oven and no microwave or toaster oven to warm up food. I expressed that we didn’t feel like this room was working for us to the hostess but there were no other rooms, and would not cooperate with us to refund one day so we could leave early.
Not our best trip.
