LUCY'S LOFT - Way better than a motel!

Lucy's Loft is perfect for you, if you are looking for a vacation place that is clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable and feels like home. It is a fully furnished upstairs 2-bedroom cottage located on the Middle Bayou of beautiful Hamlin Lake, just north of Ludington, MI. The cottage has wall-to-wall carpeting and is fully furnished with a queen bed in one bedroom and twin beds in the other bedroom. Blankets, pillows, and sheets are provided. The bathroom is complete with a tub and shower. A limited number of towels are provided. The kitchen is fully furnished with large and small appliances, including a microwave, blender, coffee maker, etc., pans, dishes, linens - everything you will need to feel at home. There is no lodging under the cottage, just storage.
Free Wifi service is provided in the cottage.
There is access to the lake, with a guest dock available for your boat. If you don't bring a boat, there are boat and pontoon rentals close by. Your kids (and you) will have fun fishing for pan fish off the docks. Many beaches are located nearby in Ludington, along miles of Lake Michigan coastline or at the Ludington State Park.

Hamlin Lake is located approximately 10 miles north of Ludington, MI. Lucy's Loft is located on the middle bayou of Hamlin Lake. Detailed directions will be provided at booking.

Joyce was a joy to have as our host! The Loft was very clean on arrival, with an amazing view of the Bayou from our windows. The neighborhood was very quiet, making our experience very tranquil and enjoyable. It’s a short drive from the Ludington State Park and the downtown, which made beach days and shopping days very accessible without dealing with all of the bustle of cars and people. This was the perfect getaway from work and life, and would recommend staying here to anyone!

Very pleasant, relaxing stay

My husband and I really enjoyed Lucy's Loft, exploring the area, kayaking on the bayou, sitting by the lake and eating breakfast and lunch on the deck. We enjoyed meeting Joyce and hearing about her experience coming to this area. The Loft was very comfortable for the two of us. We would definitely come again.

Great vacation getaway

It is a well kept, clean and cozy cottage with easy access to Hamlin Lake as well as being close to downtown Ludington and Ludington State Park. Owners were very kind and friendly. We will definitely be booking for next year

Lake Michigan fishing trip

My son and I came up for our yearly fishing trip to catch some salmon and had a great time. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. No problems with anything. Property was quite nice and cozy. The owner Joyce, was very responsive and informative.

Lucy's Loft

We had a very positive experience staying at Lucy's Loft. The owner Joyce was very welcoming. She even baked us some cookies when we arrived. The property was very clean and inviting. Plenty of space for a family. The property was conveniently located to both Hamlin Lake, Ludington and Lake Michigan. We also enjoyed having a firepit to use if we wanted to. All in all, it was very nice to stay. We would definitely like to stay here again the next time we around the Ludingtopn area.

Great little getaway

It was a couples getaway and we had a wonderful time. Great to spend time in nearby Ludington and also just hangout at the property. Joyce was a great communicator from the start and so friendly on property. The fire pit is technically at her backyard but you would have never even known she was home. Hamlin lake is beautiful and we know we could have stayed several more days. We are keeping this on our list for a return visit!

Happy Thanksgiving 2019

We spent the holiday week-end relaxing at Lucy's loft. This cozy little cottage is tucked away in a rustic setting. The loft is spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and creatively decorated by the hosts, making obvious their genuine intent to provide each and every guest with warm and friendly "Pure Michigan" memories. Stay there if you can. You will not be disappointed.

My family and I had a great time staying in Mike and Joyce's home. It met all our needs to a T. While the kitchen was small it had all the pots and pans and dishes we needed. Even had a muffin tin which I don't always find at rentals. Everything was clean and ready to be used. The bedrooms were complete with clean, comfortable beds with extra bedding available. Each room also had a dresser and closet. The living room has a comfortable sectional couch for lounging and watching TV. There were several board games to play on rainy days. We ate all our meals at the table that easily fit the 4 of us. The bathroom was spacious and had a nice strong shower. The kids caught and released several fish from the dock. We enjoyed a campfire one night while the kids fished. I spent a lot of relaxing time just sitting in the colorful Adirondack chairs by the water. We visited several thrift stores in town as well as the Cops and Doughnuts bakery. There are several places close by to access the beach. You could not ask for a better host and hostess. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

Spring Fishing Trip

This has been the perfect spot for our first fishing trip of the year. The house is very clean and has everything we need for a comfortable stay. Having a dock to park the boat is extremely convenient as well. I would highly recommend Lucy's Loft to anyone looking to explore the Ludington/Hamlin Lake area.
