The Studio a lovely tiny house retreat in the centre of Basingstoke
The Studio is a unique wooden building situated at the bottom of the lovely garden of the main house. It has its own private garden with large sun deck and small pond. It comprises a large open plan space with fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and king size bed plus a cosy platform space with double bed idea for one adult or children. Everything is at your fingertips. Perfect for a short break!
Your hosts offer homebaked goodies and a warm personal touch. We are available if you need us but respect your privacy.
The Studio is at the heart of Jane Austen countryand and close to all the facilities in Basingstoke, yet feels like you are in the countryside. Half an hours drive time to Royal Windsor, the heritage City of Winchester and the beautiful Hampshire countryside, you will be an hours drive to Stonehenge and the durrassic coast - Lyme Regis and the New Forest. Hop on the train and you are in Central London in 50 minutes - with the opportunity to explore all that the capital offers.

About the host
Your host
We have been living here for 21 years but built The Studio in 2017 after a fire destroyed our outbuildings. We both work from home - Chris is a Homeopath and Noelle is a Life Coach and Organisational Change Specialist. We have a large family, all but one now at home and enjoy our two dogs and cat, gardening, family and friends.

The Studio is a unique retreat perfect for a couple or a group of friends. In its own self private garden you could be in the middle of the countryside rather than 5 minutes walk away from all the amenities provided by our bustling town centre - including a Wednesday food market, restaurants, leisure and entertainment, Museums, Theatres and The Anvil a national class Concert Hall. Great for a business trip where you want your own self catering space to retreat too or for a short break with benefits of all that Hampshire offers a short drive from your door. With offstreet parking and friendly hosts this is a lovely easy experience.
