Beautiful Home+Cool Hosts = Perfect Weekend
My family and I stayed this past weekend and we are still talking about how great of a time we all had. The home was gorgeous and so clean! The open space in the house allowed us all to be together. We loved the porch and spent hours on it playing games. Valerie was so easy to work with, she stayed connected and provided me with great recommendations for things to do in town. We are DEFINITELY coming back!

Perfect location to see the total eclipse
I booked River Refuge on a whim to come see the total eclipse with my family a year in advance. We got way more than we expected! The location was perfect, the house was huge and gave us lots of things to do from enjoying the firepit to kicking a soccer ball around the front yard. The dog had plenty of space to run. We watched movies, made dinner, and went up to the lake a few times. A great April weekend. I look forward to returning to check it out in the summer. I bet it's even better. Location is great.

Enjoyed It Very Much
The house was great! The location was great! The fishing was great! This trip was part of a family vacation/extended family visit and everything from check-in to check-out was great. The house being right on the river made for simple fishing and everyone caught something. I would highly recommend as the owners were responsive to our questions, the location can't be beat and the whole process was simple and friendly.

Extended weekend
The location of this property was perfect. We were able to enjoy the Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Geneva on the Lake. The river was perfect for our inflatable pontoon boats. The deck was awesome for grilling out and chilling together. The large living room was perfect to watch a movie together. An absolute perfect weekend.
