Weekend Getaway

We had a great time and it is a beautiful location. The downfalls were, the one room showed two beds and there was only one, it said there was a ping pong table and there wasn’t (they said it was broken a year and a half ago, the dishwasher was full when we arrived, a remote didn’t work and one was found under the bed, a towel was hung up on the shower and left from before, the one room smelled really bad and we had to keep the door shut and could not use that room, under the outside deck there were cans and trash. Luckily they came and fixed the remote situation. We loved the place but definitely had some downfalls. The staff was quick to reach out though. Just wanted to let people know before they book it. The rugs were really stained as well, but I think some minor fixes could really help it!

Very nice house and setting

The good: excellent views and wildlife was abundant. All room were comfortable and the kitchen was great. The not so great: living room carpet was stained up a bit. The hot tub had visible damage that had not been repaired at the time of our stay. Short a few towels but the management company corrected quickly. Overall, we had multiple people that attended that plan to book there or in that neighborhood. Loved it!

The accommodations were good but not great....

The general meeting areas (i.e. kitchen, dining room, family room) were spacious and centrally located. Internet service was initially spotty but improved over time and having the use of 'Alexia' was a plus. The close proximity to noisy neighbors required the windows to be closed at night. The fact that the overhead fans did not work in several of the bedrooms made sleeping a bit uncomfortable with the windows sealed. The outer doors were somewhat flimsy, which made them difficult to lock from the inside. The parking area was tight for 4 cars. The grill was small and required us to eat in shifts due to the limited (cooking) surface area. We have stayed in rentals at Deep Creek for the past 7 years and would most likely not choose to return to this site in the future.

Quick Summer getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have been better is if it hadn't rain for more than half of it. Despite that, the kids loved how spacious the house was and that it was very accommodating for large families. Everything you need was already there. All the kitchen gadgets as well as bikes and wood for the fire pit was there. We will be visiting again in the future!
