Location is key and you will be thrilled when you stay in the magnificent home known as Moon Tower! Tucked among the trees, this home provides you with the private and tranquil setting you need to unwind but is still just minutes away from Wisp Resort and all lake activities!

A massive stone fireplace is a beautiful focal feature of the great room highlighted by cathedral ceilings and a wall of windows that allows the sunlight to filter through. Memories will be made as you spend time here gathering with friends and family.

Prepare your meals at home in the fully stocked kitchen and dine around the large dining table. Doors lead to the expansive wraparound deck that is the perfect location for those summer barbecues or for enjoying your morning coffee.

The main level primary suite is furnished with a king bed and a TV. You will love having access to the deck. With the bubbling hot tub right outside your door, you can take a soothing soak any time you please.

Head upstairs to find the rest of the sleeping quarters. The bedroom outfitted with a queen bed, two twin beds and a TV is a perfect spot for the kids. The house was beautiful. The photos did not do it justice, was nicer than expected when we arrived and only about a 5 minute drive to the Wisp Ski Resort.

Hidden gem

Very easy to find location in a very quite and secluded neighborhood. Great for a morning run and close to everything you would want to do in Deep Creek

Perfect location

Rented this house to hold all the guys for a bachelor party. It is fully stocked and in the perfect location away from the lake. Very secluded property but within a 2 minute drive from the marina.

Very nice, private property!

Had a friends weekend visiting local distilleries, wineries, and just cooking and having fun. The house was perfect. Clean, well stocked kitchen for cooking for groups. Comfy beds and sofas. Beautiful view and very private. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was perfect, too!

Great ski weekend!

Clean, comfortable and great view of the lake. Really enjoyed using the hot tub in the snow! Also lovely to use the fireplace and had lots of wood - thank you! The downstairs tv and pool rooms were chilly but space heater worked well. Only recommendations would be to bring dish towels and a fire starter if you plan to use the fireplace. Definitely have four wheel drive! And maybe include in the welcome book the updated WiFi password and instructions on how to open the fireplace. We definitely hope to return next winter!

Great Vacation!

The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of rooms and area for kids and adults to spread out. We had 3 adults and 6 kids and never felt crowded. Close to Wisp Resort. Included linens and towels. No firewood was in the garage, but we had brought our own. Keurig in kitchen wasn't working properly. There was another drip coffee maker but we didn't bring filters. We made hot tea or ran out to local shop to grab coffee. Not an issue for us, although avid coffee drinkers may want to pack own working pot or make plans to find coffee. Grocery store close by too for any forgotten items. We packed sleds and kids enjoyed playing in snow in the yard on the days we didn't go to Wisp. Great place to stay. Would recommend or book again.

Coulple things that need attention

Our stay was great and the home is beautiful however just wanted to bring a few things to your attention. 1. Only the master bathroom shower gets hot 2. There was no toilet paper on site other than the partial rolls in the holders. We did not have enough for 3 days and toilet paper was not stated to bring our own. 3 basement toilet did not flush. 4. Basement door was locked with a key and not accessible 5. No hose water pressure 6. Freezer was very dirty and not cleaned before arrival, we did not use it. Thank you

Beautiful house

This is a very beautiful House. My only complaints are: 1. The basement was so cold, it was practically unusable. 2. The driveway should have some sort of snow removal or a warning in winter months about 4-wheel drive. Someone staying at the house was stuck in the driveway and we had a rough time getting her out. The house was nice and clean. The view was beautiful. Would stay again in summer months.

Annual Ladies Weekend

This house was perfect for our 3rd annual ladies weekend. It had everything we needed for an eventful trip. The hot tub was perfect, media room & the pool table. The property was just set in enough into the woods to have privacy. Overall we had an amazing time! Can’t wait to come back.

Overall good with some issues

Overall this was a nice, large house well suited for 1-2 families. It is in a nice neighborhood and has great land and a beautiful view. The kitchen and appliances were outdated but workable. The fireplace is beautiful but the wood burning part was actually pretty small. Large Internet connected TVs everywhere were nice. The house was a little dirty. Some of this was because the previous renters trashed the place but it was also because the cleaners could have done a better job and some of the stuff was just a little old. To the first point, the management company was very responsive in coming to fix the big stuff soon after arrival (including air fresheners because the previous occupants smoked all over the house). The internet was out for several hours when we arrived and again the morning we departed but I think it was just a hiccup. Overall a very fun vacation getaway with our family and we enjoyed our time at the house.

A Must Stay!!

Beautiful home. I fell in love with it and wish I could’ve stayed longer! It’s very spacious and modern. Also the emergency agent were very helpful/responsive when I was locked out of the house. If I go back to the Deep Creek area, I will be renting this house again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the house was great for our gang. Can not rent it again however. The bathrooms do not have safety rails. Which is problematic for some older folks in our group. Another issue was that the carpet in the first floor bedroom was stained as well as a few of the steps heading up stairs., maintenance took care of the problem . Hard to imagine cleaning crew did not address the problem.,

Secluded and lots of space!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Moon Tower! There were plenty of beds and a lot of space so we never felt too crowded. We had some trouble with audio on the main tv and playing music on the stereos. I would recommend bringing your own speakers if you like to listen to music while you hang out. Everything outside was great. We used the firepit, hot tub, and yard for games. I would definitely recommend this to large groups for a long weekend.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have to start by saying that the property space and the overall cleanliness of the property was great. It was big enough for our group of ten, but definitely had some flaws. We were on the phone with the property management 5 times which on vacation you do not want to happen. They inspected the place Friday before our arrival but failed to see the hot tub was down and the water was off including the hot water. Although we called to report these issues and the rental office came to fix them it seemed to be one thing after another we were calling about. Although the management team did the best they could to give us a refund it was not enough to satisfy our dissatisfaction with the weekend. They did not communicate well with us about the issues that were going on. Also note that the downstairs entertainment system was not hooked up and the wood for the fireplace is kept in the garage and was wet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had to call and have the heat turned on initially. Some rooms never did get warm especially the bedroom upstairs. You need to. Ring your own wood for the wood stoves. The residence is placed in a hilly driveway but not bad. Taylor Made is responsible for clearing the driving and roads, which did t happen but once and I needed up wrecking my jeep on the icey hill coming home from skiing. While waiting for a tow truck the Taylor Made road clearing truck did come by and put down some ice and pull me out if the ditch. The house is nice overall condition of all furniture was good too. We would stay again, but would probably not during snow and iced weather.
