We want to welcome you to the Wine Down Cottage by the Sea in beautiful Cambria, California. Our cozy cottage is ready and waiting for your arrival.

We have thought hard and long how best to comfort and accommodate our precious guest. We feel that we go above and beyond to make our cherished guests feel comfortable and relaxed while having an excellent time while at the cottage.

Amazing amenities (kitchen, games, sitting areas with fire pits and a hot tub!) plus the host is wonderful. This was our 2nd time staying here and we all wish to return to this well appointed home that is close to many beautiful places such as Fiscalini preserve, moonstone beach as well as the Cambria pines lodge across the way where we enjoyed taking in the holiday light display!

This is a lovely, updated cottage conveniently located just minutes from downtown Cambria and the ocean. It has a large, well-equipped kitchen and sits on a beautiful, double-sized lot with plenty of outdoor seating. The host, Diane, was friendly and attentive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The house is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit in the evening. It is close to town and across the street from Cambria Pines Lodge. There is also a nursery I would recommend visiting.

Lovely home that's perfect for dogs with a huge fenced in yard. House was adorable and updated with a secluded jacuzzi & sitting area right off the Master Bedroom. Property owner was attentive & responded quickly to questions. It's a very short walk to the Fireside Lounge for drinks, food, & live music with your pups. Also just a short drive to shopping & the beach. We had a great time staying here & would book again.

A perfect house for a getaway

Loved it.....only recommendation is to add instructions about turning the lock knob after entering code for those unfamiliar.....the instructions were in the book but good to include in email. Also the roll away bed could use a new mattress.

I have always been in love with Cambria. It was always our get away retreat to enjoy the quiet peaceful town. We decided to buy in 2013. We still love Cambria very much and plan to retire here soon.

Why they chose this property

We completely renovated this 1967 ranch style home to accommodate what we feel most vacationers would want when they are on vacation. We also love to provide an excellent service for our quest. We would come to Cambria often and because we loved coming here frequently, we decided the next best thing was to own a piece of property here.

What makes this property unique

We are centrally located in the heart of Cambria. We are a few houses away from the Cambria Pines Lodge which host many events like Happy Hour, Wine Tours, and delicious restaurant and a huge breakfast style buffet.
