About this property
Unique sea view apartment
The apartment is furnished as to comfortably accommodate five people in a really unique place. The apartment has two bedrooms decorated and furnished with lots of style. The apartment Nikolas besides the lovely and very well-kept interior has a large veranda ideal to relax. Wonderful place to enjoy the panoramic view to the Lybian sea, Kommos beach and the village.
The village Pitsidia is located about 70 km south of the city of Heraklion. It has about 700 inhabitants and belonging to the same community with Matala.
It is built at an altitude of 80 meters just a short distance from the sea of the Bay of Messara, 1,7 km from the bay of Kommos and 2 km from the Bay of Matala
It is the oldest village in the area and owes its current name to Nikiforos Fokas soldiers. Soldiers of Nikiforos Fokas came from Pisidia in southern Asia Minor and were brave fighters. They gave, then, the name of their country, Pisidia, in the village.
The clean and neat accommodations and family taverns that operate in Pitsidia, bakery, pharmacy, ATM,… keep the quality of the visitor high.
The geographically location in the south part of Crete offers the big advantage of an easy and quick acces to many archeological and touristic areas, like Festos, Agia Triada, Matala, Agia Galini.
