Nestled in the heart of the Folk Music Capital of the world is Unit 2 at The Knotty Squirrel Cabins. Our newly constructed units will offer several different options to accommodate for any number of guests. Unit 2 offers a well equipped living area, covered porch- with seating, kitchenette, 1 bedroom with a king bed on ground level, and nice ladder loft with 2 twin beds!

Just perfect

This is the cutest little tiny house, it was so clean & probably the closet lodging in town to the town square. We enjoyed just walking out the door & being at a restaurant or shop in a minute.

Very clean, very comfortable. Perfect for the two of us. Well stocked with towels and have small conveniences in the kitchen if desired. Though we didn’t need it was thoughtful to offer. Perfectly located to walk all over the square. Note. If someone were to stay in the loft I would say older children to adults. The ladder looks very steep and the loft too high for younger kids. Not at all an issue for us since just me and my husband but if we come back with more people we would opt for another cabin. Love this one though and was absolutely perfect!!

Absolutely Quaint!

Communication with the Knotty Squirrel staff was top notch. Check in was simple and the our “cabin” was very clean and well maintained. Close proximity to the charming Main Street and I would highly recommend The Rainbow Cafe for breakfast.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

We stayed in this unit for a weekend getaway. Everything was perfect. Easy parking, great location, plenty of towels and linens, and the bed was very comfortable. The cabin was very clean!!! We will definitely stay here again in the future

great stay

The stay was great with few exceptions. There was no TV in the bedroom, The floors were slick and the throw rugs need grippers. The cleaning fee seemed pretty high.
