Great location but not clean for expensive cleaning fee

While the location and spacious bedrooms were positive aspects, our experience with this home was marred by several downsides. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a strong mold and mildew odor that clung to our clothes throughout the weekend. Despite the high cleaning fee, the house was dirty, with filthy bathrooms, spider webs, and grime. The fireplace was non-functional, and the furniture in the living room could barely accommodate five people, despite the claim that the house accommodates seven. The king bed was essentially two twin beds pushed together, and the large bedroom listed as a queen and double bed actually had a twin. When we raised our concerns, the owner initially offered a refund but later retracted it, trusting the cleaning company's assessment over ours. As respectful renters, we expected better for the expensive cleaning fee. We won't be returning.

Nice comfy house

Great communication from owner, had a minor issue and was quickly resolved. Thanks again. Nothing felt lacking, kitchen, bathroom and all rooms were well stocked. Area itself isnt too bad. Plenty of shops and food to choose from, no late night choices. Only stayed for 2 nights but would definitely consider it for a week long stay.

Close to the action.

It's not pretty and there isn't anything fancy about it. But it's an inexpensive place to rest your head after skiing all day and night. The house is close to everything you need and is surprisingly quiet for it's location. I recommend it to the budget conscious on the go types that just need a place to crash. Next time we do the Camelback thing we'll look you up again. Thank you.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property as it has a perfect location. No need to drive your car to eat at Tannersville's famous restaurants. Just leave the house and cross the street. That simple. Also, the house is located off the main road and close to many of the Pocono attractions. Camelback, Kalahari, shopping malls within few minute drive. Bushkill falls within 30 minute drive. Mt. Airy Casino and local pubs within 10 minute drive.
The house is perfect! Specious bedrooms, comfortable living room and a beautiful private yard. What else can you ask for? Just come and enjoy our beautiful home.
