About this property

Relax at Big Star Lake with the whole family! This cottage has 2 full baths and 4 bedrooms including a bunk room (with 3 twin beds & a double). Enjoy morning coffee on the balcony off the master or head down to the deck that overlooks Bayak beach. Plenty of parking and space for your beach toys. Lake access is via the Bayak Beach Association, which abuts our property and is about fifteen feet from the spacious deck.

While we do not offer docking or mooring space, the Michigan DNR boat launch is 5 minutes away for easy in & out boat access.

Great cottage on the lake!

The cottage was perfect for our family of 10. The 4 bedrooms were spacious and fit us all well. The lake was beautiful and the beach is just steps away from the deck. The cottage does get hot without A/C but the owners had some fans and tips on cooling it down at night. We loved our trip and would stay here again!

Great location and property. Looks small once you drive up but really makes use of space well

We had a blast on Big Star Lake. 4 bedrooms with one of them a bunk room with 4 separate beds. Plenty of room to spread out inside and outside. Nice touches to have kayaks and plenty of outdoor seating.

Relaxing Week on the Lake

This property lived up to just as described on VRBO. The property line goes up to the beach but does not include the beach. Bayak Beach is just to the left of the property and is a very nice, well kept beach that kids can play on, enjoy the water and relaxation can happen. From the cottage’s porch you can watch all of the lake activity and enjoy beautiful sunsets each night. Cottage interior is functional and comfortable. Beds seemed comfortable to all who stayed. Clean cottage that was easy to maintain the cleanliness.

Wonderful for our family size this year 😎

Clean, tidy, well stocked, and perfect for the size of our family this year. With three kids, three spouses, and 4 grand kids, it fit our needs well! The deck was amazing for shade and activity in the morning and it was nice and close to beach access for afternoon swims. The cottage was pet friendly but the beach was not. We were blessed with warm/hot days but thankfully cool nights, as there is not AC. The attic fan helped cool the cottage down at night, given the weather we had early August. The host was great to work with, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond back to any of our needs (which were very few). I definitely recommend Drew’s place to families looking for a week of relaxation!

Big Star Vacation

The cottage was exactly as the pictures showed. The rooms were neat and clean, the deck was great, and the furnishings were comfortable. It would have been nice to have a tv that could pick up local channels as the Olympics were on. A little disappointing there was no dock space. Overall e we had a great week.😎
