Villa Elisa is 170 sq. m residence and totally refurbished in 2015 with superior design, touches of warmth and charm.

It is located in a quiet village called Keramota, offering full privacy and splendid views of sea and mountain.

It is literally a hidden gem around the beauty and tranquility of a uniquely green landscape of olive trees and vineyards only 14 km away from the sandy beach of Panormo.
Totally isolated but close to everything, our villa offers full privacy to our guests and a variety of facilities for the whole family.
Furnished in a combination of vintage and luxurious touches, the three-story villa can accommodate 8 people in beds and up to 10 people if it is necessary.
The layout of the villa:
Entering the villa from the main entrance on the ground floor you will find a spacious open plan area with a fully equipped authentic kitchen, the vintage style living room area with satellite HDTV and the indoor dining table! From the living room area, you have direct access to the veranda which offers exceptional views of the landscape.
Reaching the first floor from the stairs, there are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms and one bathroom with bath and shower. Both bedrooms have a double bed and access to the balcony.
The lower floor of the villa can be accessed through stairs from the ground floor or it can be totally independent of the rest of the villa as it has also its own entrance. In the hall, there is a sitting area with a sofa and a small kitchenette with a fridge and a small oven. On the same floor, there are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with 2 single beds. There is also a bathroom with a shower.
Our magnificent outdoor area is one of the highlights of the villa. There is a 4,500 sq. m fenced organized area with many spots for relaxing, unique beautifully landscaped aromatic herbs gardens, flower gardens, and trees!
More specifically our outdoor facilities include:
- 40 sq. m swimming pool with sun-beds, umbrellas and poolside tables
- Fully equipped charcoal barbecue area plus a wood oven, a sink and a fridge under a pergola
- A large outdoor dining table next to the barbecue with views of the pool and the surrounding landscape
- Many organized furnished spots (sunbeds, outdoor sofas and, chairs) for relaxation
- Fenced parking for many carsThe unique benefits of Villa Elisa are:

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Elisa, me and my family of 9 people. We all fell in love with the 5 cats that have their home there and two of which where nursing new born kittens :) Wonderful surroundings and excellent housing.

Beautiful quiet space

The stay here was lovely, peaceful and quiet. You will need a car to get around as a little out of the way, but that is why we chose it. The owners were great, communicative and helpful. Make sure you like cats as there were a lot of cats and kittens. Pool and garden were amazing and we were sad to have left! Recommended!

What a trip ! What a house ! What a garden !

Don't hesitate a second ! This villa is a true paradise with a stunning garden made of a lot of aeras : a fountain with gold fishes, a litte village square, a swing under the trees, you're gonna take a nap surrounded by the smell of jasmin and take your breakfast watching the sea. The pool is large and sunny. Natasa and Yiannis are the kindess persons in the world and they are really helpful. We had the best hollidays for years and we long to go back and drink a raki with them.

Beautiful Villa!

We had a lovely stay here. Natasa and her husband welcomed us at the villa, even though it was past midnight. The swimming pool has good measurements and the view is very nice. It is a good base to discover the lovely island of Crete.

Exceptional Villa Elisa with dreamlike garden

We really enjoyed our two weeks stay at Villa Elisa and would highly recommend it. We were welcomed by the owners who were extremely friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay and provided us with local food on arrival. The huge garden is a dream, which has been created with a lot of love. There are so many paths and seating areas. The plants and trees are a splendor and it had so many different fruits and vegetables which we could enjoy every day. We enjoyed every day watching the sun set from our balconies or pool. The facilities in the villa were fantastic and overall the accommodation was presented excellently, everything was very clean and tidy. All bedrooms and living room have air conditioning which worked very well. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a large fridge. Our children (ages 16 & 18) were with us, the villa was perfect for them, they spent a lot of time in the pool and played with the house cats. We found the area was very quiet and safe. It is only a short drive to Perama or Panormos to buy foods or visit the nice tavernas. There are so many beaches in the region where you can easy go to swim. I can only say good things about this villa and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you to Natasa and Yiannis for everything you did for us and will hopefully be back there soon.

Fantastic villa set up in the mountains

We stayed at Villa Elissa in August 2017 and had a fantastic time. The outside area is the main selling point for the villa. It has a good-sized pool and lots of sitting areas to sunbathe or escape to the shade. The garden is beautiful and it is full of fruit and vegetables which the owners Yiannis and Natasha are happy for you to pick and use. It is in a good location - lots of nice villages nearby including Anogia and Zoniana, and the busier town of Rethimno is only 30 minutes away. We would definitely go back to Villa Elissa!

Fantastisch huis voor een familievakantie

We hebben 10 dagen in deze villa gezeten met 7 volwassenen en een baby van 9 maanden. Het huis ligt op een prachtige locatie met zicht op zee. Er is voldoende ruimte binnen en buiten. Zon of schaduw keus genoeg. Mooi kinderbedje met een goed matrasje en een een verstelbare kinderstoel. 8 km verder in Perama zijn supermarktjes en een bakker met heerlijk vers brood. Het was nog mooier geweest als het brood iedere dag vers bezorgd kan worden. Klein maar mooi strand in Panormo 16 km vanaf de villa. Gezellig stadje met veel betaalbare eettentjes. Bedjes op het strand waren goedkoop en incl. frisdrank. Lidl in Rethymnon aan de grote weg. Een avond ons laten verwennen door een kok. Goed eten en alles wordt netjes afgewassen en opgeruimd. Klein minpuntje is de stroom die vaak uitviel als meerdere apparaten tegelijk aanstaan. Is zelf te verhelpen als je weet waar alle schakelkasten staan.

Très beau et agréable jardin

Très belles vacances passées dans cette villa. Nous étions 2 familles avec 5 enfants et les espaces intérieurs et extérieurs étaient totalement adéquats pour nous tous. Nous avons surtout profité des extérieurs : terrasse en hauteur offrant une très belle vue, jardin magnifique, très bien aménagé, environnement autour de la piscine tres agréable, cuisine extérieure où nous prenions notre petit déjeuner... A noter : la maison en altitude permet d'échapper aux fortes chaleurs et offre toute la journée un souffle d air rafraîchissant. Avec une touche spéciale qui a agrémenté considérablement notre séjour : la très grande hospitalité des propriétaires qui nous ont donné de nombreux conseils pour sillonner la région, trouver les endroits magnifiques et non touristiques.... Et nous ont fait rencontrer des villageois de Kermota, des gens adorables et tout aussi hospitaliers. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

The whole surrounding area is in a quiet natural environment and even though the living areas are close, you can feel “away from it all”! In Keramota village there are two small but great taverns which you can reach on foot. The location is giving you the advantage of staying in one of the most traditional areas of Crete where people are still growing up with the traditional values and the real traditions! Take advantage of the location and explore the nearby villages of Melidoni, Margarites, Eleftherna, Zoniana, and Anogia where you can interact with real Cretan people and feel the Cretan hospitality at the highest level.

What makes this property unique

Around those villages you will also be able to see some unique sightseeing spots like the Idaion Andro cave where the Zeus was born according to Greek Mythology, the Zoniana village museum with candle statues and the cave “Sfendoni”, the well-known cave of Melidoni, the traditional pottery shops in Margarites, and last but not least, the archaeological site and the newly built museum of Ancient Eleftherna are worth a visit for discovering and feeling the ancient history of the area.
