Meadow View was a perfect winter getaway. Our two pups LOVED exploring the trails and playing in the snow. Everything was clean, comfortable, and spacious for a 1 bedroom. We had to make some adjustments to our dates after booking; Shonda and Daniel were extremely helpful and quick to respond throughout
First time weekend get away with the girlfriend. Cozy quaint and just the right size. We come in and enjoyed late pub dinner at Worthy Kitchen, then a super comfy bed. Hot shower with good water pressure. Complimentary coffee. Snowshoeing on the property was great. Close proximity to Woodstock and points of interest. Would definitely stay here again.
Meadow View was a great place to stay while we visited Vermont. We enjoyed the porch and view of the meadow while eating breakfast. The bed was comfy after a day of sight seeing in Vermont. Thank you for sharing your lovely place.
We stayed for 5 days while we helped our daughter get settled in her new job at St. Gaudens national park. The place is decorated so cute and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Wee we also brought our 2 large sized dogs with us and they were able to stay. We’d love to stay here again.
Absolutely perfect!!!
Meadow View was everything we could have wanted for our week in VT. The location was ideal and the property was gorgeous! My pups enjoyed our walks on the trails as much as I did!
Just walking through the door we felt almost instantly at peace. Daniel and Sondra are wonderful hosts offering a wonderfully appointed home. Meadow View offers stunning views and the property is magnificent.
Owners were very nice. House and property was well kept. Loved the open space and no one around. Dog had a great time running around and jumping into the pond.
Fantastic stay! Beautiful and clean and everything was thought out. The only unknown was that there were other guests on the property as well at the time in another cottage
Enjoyed wintry weather, skiing & snowshoeing on close-by wooded trails, and the bright, quiet cabin. Owners are upbeat & attentive while respectful of privacy. Unusual property I will surely visit again soon.
Meadow view is exactly that-beautiful setting in a meadow with woods and trails out the door. My husband and I spent 3 days here on a mini vacation. We hiked in the area with our dog, checked out the neighboring towns, and had a relaxing time sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. The apartment has a well supplied kitchenette, dining/living area, good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water, and a king-sized bed. We will definitely return. Thank you Daniel and Sondra!
Beautiful property! The home was super clean and had everything we needed. The garage was awesome for keeping our car. Bed was comfy and the house was well stocked. Loved being able to take our pups. Half hour to Okemo and beautiful mountain to hike nearby. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful, quiet, and beautiful spot for a weekend getaway. Despite a significant winter storm we felt warm, safe and well taken care of. The living space is thoughtfully prepared and has everything you can imagine for a comfy time away from home.
My dogs loved having endless adventures on the huge private property and felt welcome.
Highly recommend.
Wonderful - clean, comfortable, with all we needed for cooking and relaxing. The meadow and woodland trails are amazing/beautiful. We -and our dog- loved walking them every day. Also loved the stars at night, and hooting owls.
Daniel and Sondra were welcoming, and available if we needed anything (though we didn't!) We'd love to return!
Daniel & Sondra have expertly anticipated anything you might want/need and it is already waiting for you in their spotless home. Super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to staying with them again
Managed to enjoy a few days in VT post recent floods. Meadowview perfect- comfortable and simple, just right for the two of us and our two dogs. We all loved roaming the fields and woods and just enjoying the spaciousness and beauty of the grounds. Found great local restaurants thanks to owners suggestions. Got to make reservations though! We will definitely be back!
We loved staying at this cozy little Vrbo during our honeymoon😍 Sondra and Daniel were so thoughtful and took care of every little detail. Very clean. Spacious garage area; perfect for unloading. Big bathroom; nice accents of decoration. Instructions for everything were very clear. Close enough to some great ski mountains; we skied at Okemo and Stowe.
We loved everything!!! We travel often with our 2 senior dogs to locations with large diverse landscapes where we are allowed to roam freely and this one is top notch. The accomodation was super clean and organized with all that we expected from the listing. Sondra & Daniel are wonderful friendly hosts of an amazingly beautiful property. We are forever grateful! We will definitely return again!
The property is absolutely lovely. Sondra and Daniel created a beautiful and welcoming space where everything is perfect. All the details of the property were well thought out with plenty of space and beautiful views out of every window. It felt like staying in a 5-star, impeccable hotel with every possible amenity. The small touches (treats, the softest towels I've ever felt, dog dishes) let us know that Sondra and Daniel put their hearts into being the best hosts ever. Our daughters loved having space to run and play - especially after it snowed. We can't recommend this property enough!
This property is truly a treasure! The one-bedroom cabin was immaculate. Perfectly clean, well-organized, filled with the necessary amenities for cooking, and overall super comfortable. Seriously, probably the cleanest VRBO that I've had the pleasure of visiting. Plus, the overall property is amazing. There is a lovely collection of marked trails for long walks. This was perfect for off-leash romps with our dog. The property owners are super responsive and helpful while also completely un-obtrusive. It was nice to know they were close by for any issues (there were none!). Also: there is a HUGE garage for parking your car (this was lovely, given that we visited in January and it was a bit snowy outside). This was a really wonderful find for our New Year's getaway and we would love to return in the summer months!
The property has the essence and magic of that region. Sondra and Daniel are such wonderful caretakers and stewards of the buildings and land. One can feel how they love all of it. It was more than i could of hoped for certainly far better than 5 stars. The kitchen had everything even wooden spoons. I brought one of my favorite pans just in case, never needed.it. i am pretty familiar with that area but the local market was truly a find! The meats, wine selection, organic milk, so much choice! Would have stayed a month easily.thinking of going back to do some snowshoeing in that meadow! The place was perfect and they were so good to my dog and made her feel it was home. She left some of her balls hoping we may go back to stay again. My sentiments exactly.
