This 3 bedroom townhouse is well appointed for a family group or a get together for friends. Located in a central area of Nelly Bay where you can wander to enjoy a coffee of meal however this apartment is a holiday in itself.

The well appointed kitchen begs the for the masterchef to entertain or keep it simple and utilise your living area by bringing the outside in and enjoy a BBQ and drinks on your balcony.

After enjoying your day on Magnetic Island wash away your cares and sunscreen while relaxing in a large spa bath while watching the boats anchored in the marina. This is truly a wonderful feature!

The property was lovely and very spacious. However, a number of general maintenance issues were evident e.g. holes in the wall, stained and not working blinds, door racks missing from the fridge and lots of dust and dirt. The unit could do with a deep clean. In saying that it was a beautiful place in an amazing location.

Short holiday

Came up from Melbourne, decided to forget about having a car and just seeing where the busses take us. Location was perfect, a bus literally passing the accomodation every half hour or so. Supermarket a few minutes walk. Pool was really nice, accomodation was very comfortable. Kids didn’t want to go home. We will be back! Dan

Great Apartment & Area

Great 3 bedroom apartment and area. Close to some good food, beaches and walking. Has everything you need. Definitely recommend for family's or just a couple. Loved the bi-fold doors that open up the veranda downstairs & the main bedroom upstairs.

poor maintenance not worth the price

Not family friendly booked this place as a treat for our grandkids and daughter and was frowned at and watched the whole time we were there even when we went to the pool and found sign posted to the guest parking telling us we could only stay 4 hours what ! Rented a 3 bedroom apartment so needed both cars so of course we will park the other car in the guest park. Also found the apartment in poor condition broken door handles, no globe in light, dirty oven that just about smoked us out from the fat in it when turned on so we couldnt use it, dirty bbq, & found the matress protector had blood & urine stains on it. No cleaning material but a dirty broken mop, & the cooking saucepan was old and poorly maintained that everything just stuck to it so we gave up and went and brought our meals. the spa which we especially got this apartment for it wasnt working and we didnt know it needed to be connected elsewhere perhaps this should have been done before we arrived or at least we should have been told and then wouldnt have missed one of our nights, finally to find a sign in the cupboard telling us not to use anything there as it was the owners !!!you hired the whole unit to people at least they expect to use the extra toilet paper etc or lock the storage room. We wont be booking here again think there was far better options on the island and better priced where family will be made to feel welcome. The only plus it has a view of boat harbour but also wasnt told you need to cart all your gear up 2 flights of stairs as we werent aware we would be upstairs and also bedrooms are upstairs. The pillows in main room were very hard. Also walls were dirty along with the furniture . Very disappointing as this was a special holiday for our grandkids which ended up costing us more because of the poor condition of the cooking equipment.

Disappointed

Wish we had seen previous review before we booked. As per previous review the door lock still broken. It said it all, little to no maintenance to the apartment. Happy with location and amenities. Disappointment started when we opened the apartment door. Kitchen benches, tables, chairs and floors were all filthy. Crumbs, sand, dirt and fluff found everywhere. Inside cupboards, shelves needed wiping out, main pantry unusable due to owns property spread across all shelves. Tv's, fridge, microwave, washing machine and dryer all in good working order. Dishwasher not working properly. Electric frying pan the only thing clean and usuable to cook dinner for 6 in. Saucepans with no lids, no containers, most kitchen utensils were missing, broken or rusty. Our apartment had to be "recleaned" before we could use it. Then 2 days in, 1 aircon leaked all over the floor due to no maintenance and all 3 bedroom aircon had to be serviced due to not working properly. On informing Best of Magnetic about cleanliness and air conditioning, the ladies were quick to address the problems immediately and rectify both problems. Bedrooms were well appointed with plenty of linen, including pool towels. In summary, my family and I will never book apartment 13 again. In future we will find other accommodation on the island.
