We had a wonderful girl's weekend! The property was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The owners have thought of everything you would need to stay here. We are planning a trip back next year!!!
Very nice property and helpful owners. Kids and adults all enjoyed kayaks/canoe/paddleboards. Plenty of games to play. Bellaire is a nice town; small with just the amount of retail you need. Having the Food Fair grocery nearby was super-convenient.
This house was so well stocked, with nice quality items. Plenty of space for our group to gather together in the common areas. We loved being so close to all of the hiking trails at Glacial Hills
Everything was great. The water pressure in the home was low and it took a long time for the water to get hot. This was the only drawback. Thanks, the home was what it said it would be.
The Kitchen was very well equipped! We cooked a lot and everything was there. The property is AMAZING and excellent for Yard Games! Deck and Firepit areas have lots of furniture. Updated Baths a huge plus too! We loved it and would rent again!
The property was perfect for my family of 14. We had 9 adults and 5 children ranging from 7 months to 14 yo, there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the lake and the outdoor space was beautiful. Lots of lawn games supplied along with paddle boards and kayaks for enjoying the water. Would definitely rent again.
What an amazing rental property. The house was emaculent and wells stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation. We swam, fished, kayaked paddleboard, played yard games and enjoy nights by the fire. We are a family of three grown kids, spouses and 6 grandkids from ages of 3 months to 6 years old. All had a great time.
Where do I start? I waited 2 years to get into this property and it did not disappoint! This place is amazing! The house, the water, the yard, the location …. I could go on and on. We have booked again for summer 2024 enough said 😊.
We were just up at Tim & Holly's beautiful home in Bellaire with the family and could not have asked for a more wonderful and spacious home for us to get together! The house is beautifully decorated and had everything that you could need to have a great time! We play lots of yard games and they have a tremendous yard to do that. Tim was very quick to respond with any questions that we had. Great home and great hosts!!!

This was a wonderful home away from home for a family to spend quality time together. It had beautiful rustic decor and one of a kind artistic touches throughout. The pictures don’t do it justice! We had morning coffee on the deck watching the mist wake up the day and spent each evening around the fire pit. The kitchen items were extremely well stocked to to facilitate a large group and everything we needed to cook family dinners. Truly a great place to bring a large family together. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Checking in and out was very easy. We would definitely stay again in this beautiful setting.
This is our second year staying here and we loved it just like last year. It's a little more secluded on this end of the lake which we really like. It's quiet and peaceful and if we want to take our wave runner where there's more action on the lake then we head north. My husband and kids loved fishing on the canal. Everyone caught some fish so it was exciting for all of them. The house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The dishwasher and washer and dryer are a huge plus for me . The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need and then some. We also like that it's within minutes of driving downtown. My husband and I actually walked one day downtown and rode our bikes a couple of other days to Ruthann's Gourmet Bakery for a bagel and coffee.
We stayed for 3 nights, and the experience was amazing. All of the little personal touches and furnishes were awesome. Beautiful home on the lake! I would recommend this place to anyone
An ideal place to relax and enjoy natural! We were very fortunate to see the Starlink satellite 3 times! Hiked the natural trials nearby. Honestly, most of our time was spent on the backpack. Just enjoying the views.
We - three generations - had a good time at this property in Bellaire. The house, as the description states, is on Intermediate Lake, and our family enjoyed our own inflatables (rafts and volleyball) as well as the paddle boards and the canoe provided by the homeowners. We also rented a jet ski for a day. Both the indoor and the outdoor spaces provide plenty of spaces for gathering, but the lay-out of the house and the yard allow for privacy as well. We enjoyed the large sectional, the multiple dining spaces, the spacious deck, and the fire pit. The yard is large enough for outdoor activities such as corn hole ( boards are provided by the owners), whiffle ball, and tag too. The sunrises were stunning, and we never tired of watching a pair of swans gliding in the canal and on the lake and listening to the loons. While we spent a lot of time outdoors, inside there were a large dollhouse, a tub of Lincoln logs, and a game table (hockey) that were popular with our family as well. There was plenty to do, rain or shine, and we will remember our time in Bellaire fondly.
We booked this home for a small family reunion and it was perfect. The location, property, and lake setting far exceeded our expectations! I will be recommending this spot to others and would be happy to go again!
This house is AMAZING!! The views are breathtaking, we used the paddle boards and kayaks and it was so much fun! Quiet neighborhood owners had great communication and left us a cute care package for the weekend. House was clean and easy to find no AC but the window air conditioners were enough to keep us cool. 10/10 recommend and I would stay here again!

I am a Registered Nurse and my husband Tim is a Mechanical Engineer. We have four beautiful children ages 2,11, 13, and 15. We bought this home to make memories that will last a lifetime with our children. It has been a dream come true.
Why they chose this property
This property is as peaceful as they come. I truly believe this is one of the best locations on the lake. Out of the front window you see pristine unobstructed views. The south side of the property is situated on the canal for boat hookup, fishing, or enjoying the water. The north side of the property is a wooded parcel. It does not get any more private than this! There is an island out front, great for taking the kayak on an adventure. Most of the property at the lower end of the lake is naturally wooded, therefore there are very few properties in the view. You can often see eagles flying on this end of the lake, as well as loons, geese, ducks and swans. There are pristine views of the island in the center of the lake. The water is warm and calm, great for skiing, tubing, and water sports. One of the best parts if you have children who enjoy being towed in a tube or skiing, there is very low boat traffic. It is a safe location making this experience fun and low stress. We have an open area on the front lawn for yard games. Games that are provided include corn hole, ladder ball, bocce ball, yard Yahtzee, yard Jenga, yard Dominoes, and several others. For rainy days there are plenty of board games inside the house. We bought this home to watch our 4 children grow up and make memories for them to enjoy for a lifetime. We hope you will share those same memories with your friends and family. The location is awesome, close to Leelanau Peninsula, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Mackinac Island, Traverse City, and many more great places to tour.
What makes this property unique
Privacy, lake frontage, canal frontage, close proximity to many great cities and area attractions, quiet, quaint town, relaxing, it is a little slice of heaven!
