The neighborhood is known for its relaxed atmosphere while still being a walk to restaurants, shops, grocers, bars, boardwalk, parks, and everything that makes Long Beach such a special place to spend your summer. 30+ day minimum is required in accordance with local regulations and max capacity is 3 guests and only approved occupants are permitted. This is a quiet residential home, and respect for neighbors is essential. If you are looking for a seamless, walkable live-at-the-beach summer experience, this is your opportunity to enjoy the West End at its best. Ring doorbell and security systems at exterior points and an owner-accessed smart thermostat are installed for security and efficiency—please do not tamper with these devices.

Great stay at a cozy bungalow

This property is very comfortable and welcoming. It has lots of space and is very clean. The check in process and entry to the house-keypad- works great. Great neighborhood with lots o people out walking their dogs- even in cold weather. Walk to the Main Street including grocery store. Bonnie is a fantastic host who is so responsive, friendly, and professional in all interactions. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to beach and close to city

This house is a perfect beach house. Living area is bright and airy and the front porch is ideal for late afternoon snacks and cocktail. The neighborhood is super friendly and it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the most gorgeous beach. The house is well equipped. We literally took the train from the city with a suitcase of clothes and everything we needed was there or nearby! Enjoy

Impeccably decorated beach house on the west end in long Beach

This residence is so well planned from decor to home accessories,ie oven mitts, towels, pots, pans, etc. much consideration went into the beachy art choices, colors,different pillow types. Open floor plan, wood flooring, quiet dead end with update bathroom, kitchen. Lots of hot water. Has laundry. Residence is walkable to local eateries & beach. Door handles are levers which are great for seniors like me. Wall unit acs in all rooms. Plenty of light from windows etc. I had one problem near the end of my stay. Property manager, Bonnie Maloney, answered right away, sent out repairman and took care of the issue. My only downside is street parking, which I’m not really used to, but I managed after staying a month.

The house itself is fine, but the host’s behavior made this one of the most stressful trips I’ve ever taken.The first I heard of any complaint was an angry phone call around 6 PM—well before quiet hours—accusing me of throwing an underage drinking party and saying that the police were already on their way. When they arrived, there were just two of-age adults calmly barbecuing on the porch. No alcohol, no noise, no damage, and certainly no underage guests.Unfortunately, the neighbor next door has a history of making false reports. The host even admitted that she knows this neighbor is mentally unstable—but still chose to take her word without verifying anything with us. Instead of a respectful conversation, the host’s husband got on the phone and just started screaming at me, accusing me of being underage and destroying the house. It was completely unprofessional and escalated a situation that could have been resolved in minutes.After that, the host tried to get me to sign an aggressive “addendum” that would allow random people to enter the home with 36 hours’ notice, waive my rights to police entry without a warrant, and agree to immediate eviction over any vague complaints.Despite all this, we respected the property, followed the rules, and left the home exactly as we found it. But between the false accusations, police involvement, and constant threats of eviction over rumors, I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful or respectful experience.

Joseph is correct that the home was in "fine" condition before his stay. Unfortunately, he violated multiple house rules, not just the 28 age requirement — confirmed by police after a call to the property. I asked Joseph to leave several times, but he charmingly assured me he would follow all rules, which he did not. My Ring camera captured repeated unauthorized guests arriving between 1am and 5am. Loud weekend parties led to a complaint from a longtime neighbor who has never filed a false report. Joseph’s negative claims about her are simply untrue. Post-stay, the home was left with piles of garbage, a stained sectional couch, scratched hardwood floors, a broken storm door, cracked fridge drawer, drywall damage, and a vacuum filled with dirty water. The condition was so bad that standard one-day cleaning required double the staff and extended to 2.5 days. The "addendum" Joseph references was simply a restatement of our house policies — policies he continuously violated. With just two days before the next guest, I had to disclose all damage and offer them the option to cancel since I cannot complete repairs until the house is empty. Total damages exceeded $6,000. I wish I could share the before-and-after photos — they speak for themselves. Joseph’s review omits the truth. His stay harmed the property, disrupted neighbors, and put future bookings at risk. Hosts, proceed with caution.

Great LB location

If your looking for a beach weekend with friends or a small family this is the place to be, West end Long Beach. The house is a great location and includes beach passes which is big right on the beach. The owner Bonnie was super awesome and the real estate agent Kim was wonderful. Only thing Was the price for the amenities, the price is high and the home needs to update a few things. A broken AC wall unit, a old fridge, and no grill. For the price one would expect more TLC on the extras that make the beach stay better. I mentioned this to Bonnie and she was understandable. Will stay here again once it gets "upgraded".

21 Michigan St is in a prime location. A true beach house, you will find sand in the streets, sunshine filtering thru the many windows and ocean breezes often cooling off the house. We love that we can walk around the corner to the beach, down the street to the pubs and restaurants. We usually park our car and never think about it again. Pack the work world away for a while and remember if you have to che
