Home has been updated since last rental and previous reviews do not reflect the current home. It is a cozy 3 bed 2 bath with large private backyard with pool within 5 minutes to Ft. Lauderdale airport and Ft. lauderdale Beach.

As you enter the home you’ll see the dining room to your left. The dining room seats 6 people.

The living room is ahead of you and features a-large leather sectional with chairs. entertainment center houses a 43in smart flat screen TV.

TO THE LEFT of the living room is the kitchen. The kitchen is updated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. It is fully stocked with all necessary cooking appliances - pots, pans, plates, utensils. Coffee pots, blender, microwave oven and baking materials.

As you walk in you’ll see the bathroom to the left. To the right is to main bedroom which has a king sized bed and 43in flat screen TV.
The second and third bedrooms have twin trundles enough for 4 more guests.

The backyard is right past the door from this bedroom or From kitchen door.
Backyard boasts lots of outdoor space - it is the highlight of the home !! It’s has plenty of sunny and shady areas to either sun yourself or just enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning shade.

It has an outside shower and sink. As well as washer and dryer on the shed beside the home.

As you walk out, you will see the updated patio with plenty of seating and eating areas, a grill for your dinner after a day at the beach or just sit and talk. There are night lights so you can enjoy it in day and night.

Then you can take a dip in the pool is from 3 ft. to 8 ft. Deep. There are pool loungers to sun yourself or just relax after a swim.

Never again

Hot tub was dirty, backyard was not well maintained, dryer was broken. First glance looked clean but dirty behind appliances. House manager changed our property 3 times and we never got a reason the first time. We will never rent a place through VRBO again.

A/C and bathrooms

This property only has a window A/C which could make it tough in summer time. Also, if traveling with a large group a single bathroom could be a inconvenience. Other than that, we had a great time, and the location is great!

I didn't like my stay at this property. the next day after check in i messaged the owner about several thing & got no response. First day i had dish in the sink upon our arrival , with food in the sink. so i was mad instantly. Then the house was hot despite the window units. after washing the dishes without a sink stopper i then went to the bathroom and it was nasty. i had to clean up the shower and the toilet had a foul smell coming from it like it was backed up. I then proceed to check my room & what do you know i found hair in my bed. at this point im extremely mad. thank god i had extra blanket in my car. Day two i plug up the iron in my room and boom , no power in my room so i call maintenance and she was like "ok, do you know where the box is at". no i do not and its not my job. So bout time i made it back to this rental the guy had been out there and got the power back on. I step in the room and its hotter than before, & i noticed they took the sir conditioner out the room. I immediately called & asked for it back but i never got it. The fridge was dirty. The spider webs & spiders in this place was ridiculous. I really want some of my money back!!! The only thing i enjoyed was having a pool!!!! I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! MOST NASTY RENTAL IVE STAYED IN EVER!!!

You get what you pay for.

The first impression upon arrival was not the best. The yard and the house looked a little rough. However we enjoyed the location and the backyard. The property was clean inside. The yard needed some attention. There was only one bathroom, no half bath. The craftsmanship of the remodel was subpar. We are campers so it didn’t bother us to much but I believe others may have some issues with it. We would probably stay there in the future if the price stays about the same.

Pleasant, convenient neighborhood

This house is located conveniently to I-95 and the Turnpike, south of Fort Lauderdale Center and only about 10 minutes from the airport. The house has promise, but it is a bit "rough around the edges" but could be stellar with a little more TLC. The pool is beautiful and well cared for- the pool company came three times during our two week stay. The yard is attractive and offers a lot of outside seating, though it could use a bit of leaf clean up and general "tidying." The interior offers three bedrooms. The king size bed in the master is very comfortable. We did not use the other bedrooms except for luggage and clothing storage. While the listing indicates 1-1/2 baths, there is only ONE full bath (newly tiled, quite attractive). There is an outside shower and sink, but I would not classify this as a half-bath. The kitchen is also fairly new and attractive. Again, though the listing indicates a dishwasher, there is none. Dishes are not especially plentiful, particularly coffee cups. A few more would be needed with additional people. The refrigerator is large with a good freezer and ice maker. Living room furniture is quite worn and in one case, an occasional chair is on the verge of falling apart. Both area rugs, but especially the one in the living room, are badly stained and in need of deep cleaning or replacing. While I know there is a cleaning company that cleans after each rental, it seems that it is only a "surface cleaning" at best. (For example, a bobby pin was on the rug in front of the sofa, and two bobby pins were under the fitted sheet on top of the mattress cover when we removed them to launder them.) This place needs a very thorough cleaning in every room. A property that is primarily rental property is difficult to maintain, as not all renters treat it with care and respect. Given that, it becomes even more incumbent on the owner to maintain at least minimal standards and assure reasonable care and maintenance. A small vacuum or electric broom would also be helpful to assist longer term renters to keep the floors clean and debris from being tracked through the house. With all of that being said, I hesitate to be super-critical as we did enjoy the property and our stay. I really offer these comments more as constructive suggestions for the property owner to help assure a more successful rental experience for all in the future.

Great location but property needs some work

We are seasoned travellers to the USA & have stayed in lots of properties. We have come to expect a standard & this property falls well below what we would expect. It’s not much to look at, either from the outside or in! Located in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access to major links to beach, malls & attractions outside of the city. Check in was easy & so was the access to the property. On entering, you immediately step into the dining area, which is clearly an add on from the original design - and well needed! You have one sofa & a couple of chairs, so only really enough seating for 4 people (total occupancy is 8)! Enter into the small kitchen, there is no dishwasher. A door leads to the back yard where you will find the washer & dryer, a very big inconvenience every evening you want to do laundry. However, we knew about this so set our expectations somewhat. The main bedroom was quite light with no blinds, so if you need it to be dark to sleep & remain asleep, this is not the room for you! There was no bedside storage, just the built in wardrobe with limited capacity due to bed linen & towels being stored there. Again, not enough bed linen for total occupancy. We agreed to stay here as it was only for 5 nights & to be honest, after 2 nights it was enough. Overall it was functional...to a point & we would not stay here again. We had a fabulous time in Fort Lauderdale/Miami & will be back again in the future, but stay somewhere where the standard of accommodation is higher, as we are use to executive homes in the Orlando area. Only 1 bathroom for total occupancy of 8, really poor & whilst we knew about this, it was a problem for us as 2 adults & 4 children on a daily basis. 2nd bedroom with just enough room to move about & access the 3rd bedroom which was dark & did not have a bedside lamp. Inadequate storage for clothes. Neither the TV in the 2nd & 3rd bedroom were connected to cable or any other method of receiving a tv signal to be able to watch any TV, just powered on at the wall. Great Hive heating/air con but the ceiling fans were still needed to blow the cool air around each room of the house.

Dirty carpets and stained furniture, very minimal supplies

the house was a 6 out of 10. There was 6 adults and 2 kids and there was only 3 blankets, 6 forks, 4 coffee cups and 7 towels. No blow dryer even though they told us there was one there. The host did bring us some additional items on our 3rd day there. The house was smaller. The pool was ice cold and we couldn't use it. The backyard space was very nice. Neighborhood was 6/7 out of 10. About 15 minutes from beach. The carpets were very stained as well as the furniture which is always a big deal because when staying in a strange place a clean feeling when you walk in is so important.
