Cedar Lodge is quaint rustic lodge fully furnished with modern amenities. The lodge is enveloped in rustic charm with a relaxing and warm environment. The Cedar Lodge interior walls include knotty pine siding, a beautiful spacious full kitchen with custom cabinetry, full bathroom, large dining area and a loft. The cozy yet open family room features a large flat screen television. The large picture windows allow views of the pond, timber, and pasture.
The lodge features Wi-Fi and a work station for those times you have to reply to the office or if you are here for an extended stay.
It also includes a washer/ dryer and central heat and air. The Cedar Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 8!
A recent addition of a large deck allows guests to watch cows and calves graze in the pasture and wildlife run.

About the host

I'm the mother to 6 children, 3 girls and 3 boys. I'm a licensed insurance agent and office manager at my husband's insurance agency, Shelter Insurance, located in El Dorado Springs. We also own a durable medical equipment company in El Dorado Springs and run cows. We have a handful of other rental properties with long term rental agreements. Did I mention I love to be busy?
Why they chose this property
This property came up for sale in 2018 and is located just down the road from our residence. We were interested in the property to run cows on. The lodge came with it and we felt like it was to nice to have a long term tenant so we thought we'd try something different with this property. I started brain storming and decorating and the rest is history! As the mother of 6 kids I know first hand how busy and hectic life can get. My goal is that families can visit here and experience solitude and make memories and moms can return back to the "chaos" of life and feel refreshed.
What makes this property unique
The lodge is located in the country. 7 miles from El Dorado Springs, MO and 15 miles from Stockton, MO. Stockton, MO is known for its beautiful lake. The lodge sits back off the road and is very quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for solitude, this place is for you.
