Welcome to our beautifully renovated 2 bedroom Cozy Cabin, situated near Lake Huron. Our cabin is the perfect retreat to escape the city for a romantic getaway, a couple's slumber, mother daughter get away or just a weekend with friends. Plus, hunting, fishing, and so much more!

2 bedrooms, queen mattresses, this cabin will comfortably sleep 4 guests. All bedding and linens are provided for your stay! The living area has leather furniture, 2 chairs and a couch. The dining area includes a beautiful custom live edge table with 4 Amish made chairs.. Cable TV & High Speed Internet access is available!

The Cozy Cabin has all that you need while you're away from home, including a full kitchen with utensils and a washer & dryer in 2nd bedroom. (No dishwasher) Relax and sip your coffee (from the Bunn and/or Kuerig coffee pots) in the covered front-porch while deer, turkey, & other woodland creatures pass by. 200 acres of nature are right out the back door!

This property is owned by an avid outdoorsmen, the property is in a central location to return after hunting, fishing and exploring the outdoors! Access to a private boat dock for boats up to 20' is available when you stay with us! Just take a look at the maps we've created of our property to get a good idea of where everything is located!

Bring your pets! They are allowed with a daily fee ($15 per dog/night).

Great Cabin!

What a beautiful cottage! Easy lake access and wildlife out the window often. Wes and Gail were great hosts and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

A hidden gem!

This cozy cottage is a true gem. It was very clean and the hosts have done a wonderful job updating the cottage. The property is and area around is very quiet. This location is great for day trips to the Tawas area, Oscoda, the casino, and even Alpena. The hosts were easy to contact and very friendly to work with.

Great get away

We met friends to do some fishing and we had great time. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, dishes so it made all of our meal prep very easy. We will consider staying again if we plans another fishing trip. Thanks for the memories.

Hosts!!!!!

Our stay was delightful. So many things to do within 5 to 10 miles. Saw plenty of wildlife while sitting out by the fire. This is a place normally I would tell you that I might return one day. But our hosts have got to be the friendliest host there are. So very knowledgeable about the area, so kind to give us a dozen fresh eggs which were just as scrumptious as you might think. Because of our interactions with the host we are 100% gonna be returning customers!!

Peaceful/Relaxing Cabin

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for our wedding weekend that took place on the beach about 10 minutes north of this location. It was so peaceful and we truly felt right at home (especially during a busy wedding weekend!). VERY clean, plenty of toiletries & (super soft) bath towels. Kitchen was stocked with the right essentials for anyone’s needs. Beautiful property and quiet. A special place. We will be back again.

Lovely cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable. You could put shades on the windows. Thanks for bringing over the fans. They really helped. Don’t know about water access. There wasn’t anywhere very close to put our kayak into the water. Maybe you could list some suggestions for this in the cabin. The closest boat ramp was private.

Great location, nice cabin, exceptional owners

We enjoyed our stay very much! Excellent location and the cabin itself is very roomy and comfortable and the enclosed porch was terrific for relaxing anytime. There are tons of windows that bring in a nice breeze. There were issues with the septic system; however, the owners took care of the issues right away. The cabin is actually part of a larger deer camp property with a beautiful larger cabin/lodge next door so the fire pit is a shared fire pit with guests in that cabin (our neighbors were terrific). The pictures and description of the small cabin indicate that there is a television available if you want to bring a VCR because service is not available; however, there actually is not a television, but we were fine with that. The owners were exceptionally responsive to any questions we had and made our stay lovely.
