A stunning, contemporary apartment with mod cons and a spacious private courtyard. Location is everything with the South Melbourne market around the corner, a 10 minute walk to Crown and a 15 minute walk to the culinary delights of Southbank. It is a chic boutique apartment that is light and airy with floor to ceiling double glazed windows. The kitchen consists of modern stainless steel appliances, a stylish breakfast counter and is fully equipped with a variety of condiments for those who want to eat in. A nespresso coffee machine is available for use but a cafe at ground level makes really awesome coffee. The bathroom is modern with towels and toiletries provided. The reverse cycle air conditioner ensures that the property is warm in winter and cool in summer. There is unlimited wifi and a large flat TV. A Bose sound system is available to enjoy your music. The bedrooms are carpetted and equipped with walk in robes and the mattresses are very supportive and comfortable and good quality linen is supplied. The master has a King sized bed and a door linking it to the bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a door and view onto the courtyard. The unit has elegant timber flooring and the living area flows out onto a spacious and private courtyard perfect for relaxing and enjoying in the day or at night. A roof top communal BBQ area is to be enjoyed and has simply stunning views of the city skyline. The best part of all is that you are in the heart of all the action. There is excellent shopping on Clarendon Street, and the wonderful Sth Melbourne market has all sorts of specialities (it is much better than the bigger Victorian market in my opinion). The Melbourne Sports and Aquatic centre is in walking distance with a range of sporting facilities on offer. The MCG, Etihad stadium and Rod Laver arena can be accessed by public transport and are only 3 kms away. Likewise the Arts Centre, Hamer Hall, Melbourne Theatre Company, Australian Ballet Company venues are in close proximity. There are tram routes that can take you to the CBD, Federation Square, Southbank, Docklands or alternatively visit the scene at St Kilda with the iconic Luna Park, beach and bike trails. Richmond is also close by with lots of fabulous factory outlets for shopping. The hardest part of your stay will be deciding where to go, what to eat and drink and how you want to be entertained. Melbourne is such a fun and fab city to be in!!!

Great location, cute space, all the amenities, and very prompt response from Siobhan! The only improvements I'd recommend would be some more comfortable living room furniture - a better couch and perhaps another chair.

Stayed here for 4 days the place was beautiful and homey! The only downfall was no parking and paid street parking.
This place is very well managed. Everything is in order as mentioned on the listing. The communication was excellent and the tips and information all relevant and up to date. Would highly recommend this place.
So close to South Melbourne markets, and easy access to CBD via direct tram network.
Loved the area, and one tram to St Kilda beach and Luna Park. Apartment was lovely

Very nice apartment and beds were comfy. Location was great. Only criticism is the cleaning - mirror in lounge dusty with water marks. Also a bottle opener would be handy as using the can opener is difficult. The TV should be upgraded to a smart TV the one in the apartment is very old.
The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our needs, as we stationed ourselves here before and after a nearby wedding.
But it really is perfectly placed for a Melbourne stay, as while everything you could possibly need is within a stones throw (restaurants, cafes, bars, markets and supermarkets) the tram runs at the top of the street, and can take you anywhere.
Great communication, and a comprehensive guide to the local area were at hand, for those who were looking for all the best Melbourne could through at you.
With one bathroom it might be tight for two couples.
We had some issues with both refrigerator and clothes dryer which were resolved . (Turned out that the dryer had never been properly cleaned, due to so many short stays - it is now clean and works well.) The Netflix subscription was a plus.
The location is terrific - right by the great South Melbourne market, very close to Woolworths and liquor store. Clarendon Street area has many good restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our three week stay and hope to come back.
Spot on with Cleanliness, location, amenities and communication. Perfect spot to sight see from and so easy to get around. Lovely courtyard setup for some quality down time. Highly recommend for 2-4 people. Perfect stay cation for us for a couple of nights.
Our stay was very comfortable. The apartment had all that we needed and there were some thoughtful touches, such as an information folder, coffee/tea, travel cards, that were appreciated. The apartment was very conveniently located and within walking distance to Southbank and the city, and the excellent South Melbourne markets around the corner. Siobahn responded promptly to queries and was professional. Great stay.
Loved this little properly, located only 5mins from the casino, the perfect base for a South Melbourne getaway. Place was well appointed, clean and the patio was an added bonus. Small but a great size for 4 adults (and 1 tiny human)
Easy check in to the property and clear instructions which made a nice stress free start to our trip.
The apartment has everything you would need and makes you feel like home away from home.
The only issue is the car park issue please be mindful if you are going with a car you will have to move your car around to find a day spot as my spots are 2 hours near the property.
This property is really easy. The location is excellent, the layout is compact but has absolutely everything yo would need. The bed, is the most comfy we've had at a hired property. Thank you, can definitely recommend. Cheers
We were very happy to arrive in South Melbourne to a property that was as listed on the website. Beautiful 2 bedroom accommodation; pet friendly; clean and Chic! We found the accommodation to be located in a great area close to the city and all Sth Melbourne has to offer i.e. close to everything: restaurants, markets, coffee shops and beach. The only negative, was the lack of parking and parking fine that followed! So the juggle with the car was a pain, but we did find long term parking at the other end of Market St towards the end of the stay...
We loved our stay second time around with our fur baby Wilson !

Perfect location for this delightful clean & modern apartment in South Melbourne.
The owner of this property worked with us to ensure that our stay was possible. Everything described on the VRBO website was true. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. All the appliances were modern and functioned perfectly. The location was superb: well-connected to transportation, night-life, beaches and shopping. All was quiet during the night and in the morning. The owner provided a binder with information for the guest...very helpful. Check in and check out went smoothly. A few suggestions are screens for the doors and window though there were very few insects. Installed ceiling fans could provide an alternative to air/con since I don't like to use the latter. The kitchen would benefit from a small frying pan, a garlic press and a teapot.
The price was good for this type of accommodation. Thanks to the owner for a wonderful vacation!
