We absolutely loved our stay. The chalet is beautiful, peaceful and exceptionally well cared for, and you can really feel how much thought Bianca and Peter have put into making guests feel at home. Everything was spotless and very well equipped, and the surroundings are gorgeous. Bianca and Peter were lovely hosts. We left with wonderful memories — highly recommended!

Beautiful and peaceful

We so enjoyed our stay in this chalet. It was exactly what we needed...off the beaten track, quiet, and amazing views! Bianca was a wonderful host...great directions and communication, and everything in the chalet was more than expected. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Slovenia

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful view. We traveled to many different places in Slovenia from here. Hosts answered any of our questions immediately Stairs are definitely a challenge. Highly recommend it

Lovely holiday

We loved it, found the chalet to be comfortable and fun. The village is delightful and the people we met very friendly especially the children and the farmer with the kittens and horses. Velika Planina is lovely as is the waterfall at Kamniska Bistrica, further afield Skocjan caves, lake Bled and lake Bohinj were a joy to experience. As recommended, the restaurant in Stahovica is delightful – try the wild goat. Overall we have had a lovely holiday and feel very refreshed and happy, thankyou.

Nice place with nice view. A complete compact house. The road to the village is a bit steep as well as the stairs in the house. But it is located really beautifull and quiet.

Everything about this place was perfect!

We loved everything about our stay. The owners helped me with SOOO many things...from finding guides for excursions to authentic gifts....they were BEYOND wonderful! The only thing I would stay is note that if you are unable to do steep stairs this probably isn't for you, as is stated. Just putting it here in hopes no one ignores that fact! For us it was PERFECT! LOVED it. Beautiful scenery, amazing mountains and stars...PERFECT!! I HIGHLY recommend this property!

Beautiful Labrador

What can you say about Slovenia - scenery, people, value - one of the best destinations for us, we'll be back ! Initially the remoteness of the chalet was of concern, but after 1 day we realised how privileged we were to stay here and enjoyed the tranquility beyond words. Good luck Mark & Trish, we hope to return. Richard & Lesely. P.S. Look out for the beautiful labrador - he likes BBQ's.

Many thanks for your comments Richard and Lesely, we feel that being only 10 minutes from Kamnik our guests have the best of both worlds, peace and tranquility at the chalet and all the amenities you'd need not too far away. We're pleased you met our neighbours dog "Jack", he's probably the best natured dog you're ever likely to meet, and as a result, probably the best fed dog in the village !! All the best Mark & Trish

We had the most wonderful stay at the chalet! It had plenty of room for our family of four and we've never stayed anywhere so well supplied - it has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday. Everything has been thought of. It was spotlessly clean and the welcome basket of fruit and wine was much appreciated. The outdoor space is perfect, with a long veranda for sitting out, eating and enjoying the views.Location wise, it's situated up in the hills and has stunning views. It's perfect if you like to get away from towns and have your own space and peace. However, Kamnik town is easily reached in 10 mins by car so it's easy to pick up shopping etc. We really liked Kamnik itself and it's a great base for exploring a lot of the country. You can see so much within an hours drive.Thank you for such a great holiday - we plan to return!

Klein aber fein

Unser Aufenthalt in Biancas Chalet war rundum zufriedenstellend. Die Ausstattung ist komplett (gut, eine Geschirrspülmaschine wäre nicht schlecht gewesen) und die Kommunikation mit Bianca äußerst nett und unkompliziert. Die steilen Treppen sind nichts für Kleinkinder (steht ja auch in der Beschreibung), unsere (6 und fast 8 Jahre alt) kamen aber gut damit zurecht. Also volle Empfehlung! Vielen Dank Bianca!

Schönes Chalet in toller Lage mit tollem Blick auf Berg und Tal

Die Gastgeberin empfing uns sehr freundlich mit Obst und "Berliner" für Berliner. Sie gab uns Ausflugstipps. Velika Planina ist von hier aus gut zuerreichen. Die wunderschöne Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein. Das Chalet ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Unsere Mahlzeiten auf der Terrasse haben wir sehr genossen.

Schönes Chalet mit Berg- und Talblick

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf die Berge und ins Tal. Die Gastgeber empfingen uns überaus freundlich mit Obst und Wein und reagierten schnell auf Anfragen etwa zu Ausflugstipps. Das dreistöckige Chalet ist gemütlich mit einem (Schlaf)Keller, was vor allem in warmen Sommernächten sehr angenehm ist. Vom Haus aus kann man Ausflugsziele wie Velika Planina gut erreichen.

Rust en uitzicht

Mooi chalet met een groot balkon dat uitzicht biedt op bergen en een prachtig dal. Ideaal als uitvalsbasis om het noordwesten en midden van Slovenië te verkennen. Omgeving van chalet is bijzonder rustig.

Ruhige Lage mit schönem Ausblick.

Die Treppen sind sehr steil, nicht für kleine Kinder geeignet. Ab 5 Jahren ok. Schöne Terrasse. Wir hatten viel Sonne. Bei schlechtem Wetter kann es mit 5 Personen etwas eng werden. Nettes Eiscafé in Kamnik!

Storslået udsigt i lille lokal landsby

Hyggelig hytte med dejlig terrasse og fantastisk udsigt. Dejlig grund og godt udvalg af liggestole, hynder, legeting, badehåndklæder og udendørs grill. Stejle trapper i hytten, så ikke for dårligt gående og små børn. Badeværelse på både stueplan og kælder. Passende til max. 5 personer. Vejen til hytten er smal og stejl, men betyder også at man bliver belønnet med en flot udsigt. Fin og billig friluftsbad i Kamnik til de varme dage og masser af mulighed for vandreture i området. Kort afstand til Ljubljana. Fin med parkering ved huset og nøgleboks. Meget velfungerende internet og TV med tyske kanaler.

Excellent chalet with fantastic views of the mountains

Property is lovely, with everything you need for your stay. As mentioned the stairs to downstairs are steep but perfectly manageable. What was lovely was the additional access to the woodshed so that we could have the relaxers up on the terrace. The property is very rural, we had a hire car so we were able to travel around and enjoy the sights if Slovenia but you need a car just for shopping. But it's probably worth being rural for the views and the peace and quiet.
