About the host
Hosted by Tammy Ricci

Tammy and Wayne grew up in the local area, went to school and college together. After 20+ years of working in their respective careers, they decided to venture out on their own and purchase Amador Station Gas and Grocery. While Tammy has 30+ years of Retail/Customer Service experience, Wayne has been in the Construction Management field for just as long. They love where they grew up and would love to share their knowledge with others regarding the local area.
Why they chose this property
Wayne actually worked at the gas station as a young man, fueling vehicles and washing windows in the early 80's. On holiday weekends he still gets a kick out of providing customer service and fueling cars for travelers. Why this property? Because it still has the small town, 'mom and pop' feel in the little grocery store. The locals come in daily and entertain them with tales of the days events. When the property came available Tammy and Wayne were certainly on board to step away from the corporate life and try something new. Since the property includes a residence upstairs, they thought what a great place for travelers to make their base while exploring the local History, Lakes, Trails and much more.
What makes this property unique
Easy and quick access to Historic Highway 88, Plenty of parking for our guests with trailers. Close proximity to Omo Ranch Rd and PiPi Valley and its Offroad Motor Sporting fun. We are also very close to the upper end of the Shenandoah Valley wine experience. Minutes from Multiple lakes and Rivers. Our Guests can enjoy hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, dirt bike riding, Historic and amazing vistas, metal detecting, gold panning, hunting, swimming, bicycling, Golf all within minutes from our location. We have a very nice restaurant next door to the facility. During the winter time we keep the parking lot clear of snow during business hours, so if you want to head to the slopes, you'll have no obstacles to slow you down. Small grocery store onsite is a big plus.
