Great Place!
I enjoyed my time at this cabin very much. It had everything I needed. The caretaker even checked in after a big storm. There was only one night where someone was in the cabin below this one so I felt like the whole place was mine! The view is beautiful in winter through the trees to the mountains.

I live in east central Mississippi, with my beautiful wife and one very old dog. After a career in newspaper and radio my wife and I bought a vacation cabin in the Smokies and soon added a couple of rental cabin for guests. Now we divide our time between Mississippi and North Carolina and we love to share the natural beauty of the mountains. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We would love to hear from you.
Jim and Peggy Clinton

Why they chose this property

My wife and I vacationed in the Smokies together and separately for many years and upon retirement decided that we wanted a permanent spot in which we could invest ourselves. After much searching we found the Nantahala area, which is close enough to towns and villages for a meal in a nice restaurant, but remote enough that we are not overwhelmed by commercial ventures and touristy activities. A day in the mountains is worth a week in town.

What makes this property unique

Spacious, Secluded and with all the conveniences of home, yet so far away from the rat race you feel as if you were in another world. Guests especially comment on the pleasure of Rocking on the Large, Covered Porch and enjoying the sound of the nearby Rushing Streams and the Waterfalls and Cascades on the Nantahala River.
