Situated just over 120 km from Porto Alegre, Imbé has stood out as one of the best beach resorts in Rio Grande do Sul. The beach is crowded in summer, when all of Porto Alegre moves to the coast. In winter, it is practically impossible to get a beach in this region of Brazil, but during the warmer months of the year the story is reversed.
