Pros: The room was very clean. Comfortable bed. You walk outside onto the main shopping strip, few restaurants and cafes to chose from. Not noisy considering it’s next to the train station. Bathroom floor was pleasantly heated.
There’s no parking, we had to park on the street far away which was difficult considering we had luggage.
There are two rooms separated by a small hallway, this is good if you book both rooms, not so good when you have strangers in the other room.
The aircon temperature control system is located in the hallway separating the two rooms. People from the other room kept turning off our aircon. Each time you want to turn the aircon on or off you have to get dressed because you have to come out of the room into the hallway to do it.
The room has no table or chairs, There’s a microwave, toaster, mini fridge and cattle, but there’s nowhere to sit and eat. We had to on sitting on the bed.
There’s no free wifi, we had to use our own hotspot for wifi.
Katoomba is the classic Blue Mountains town. Perched high above Sydney in the middle of the Blue Mountains National Park, it's the jumping off point for some of the area's most iconic attractions: Scenic World, the Three Sisters and Echo Point. Beyond the natural beauty, it's almost impossibly cute, with more than enough beautiful sandstone buildings, art deco cafes, gardens, pubs and boutique shops to keep you busy.
