This is where evenings unfold naturally: sunsets over the Gulf Islands, a thirst quencher in hand, conversation with friends and family, and the calming rhythm of the ocean just beyond.
As the light changes throughout the day, so does the entire atmosphere—from bright, energizing mornings to golden afternoons and peaceful, glowing evenings. Keep your camera ready—orcas (J, K & L pods) pass through these waters, along with bald eagles, blue herons, hummingbirds, and other coastal wildlife that make this area so unique.

Our family (2 adults and an English Bulldog) were very comfortable spending a month at Maureen and Sandy’s beach house. They are wonderful hosts, and we will definitely make an effort to return in future summers. We had some extended family and friends visit on the weekends and everyone loved the home, view, beach, and surrounding activities. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of dishes, linens and beach towels for all. What a friendly place to stay.

End of summer
House is beautiful and beach and view very nice. House needs more supplies: basic spices, condiments, face clothes, hand towels, cereal bowls, cable for tv, new lock box, garbage can in bathroom, more chairs outside. Check in instructions were old and not accurate. Sandy was helpful and handy as they have the place right next door. I would recommend this rental. Saltwater Cafe was excellent highly recommend. Point Roberts is a quiet retreat.
Maureen and Sandy are so helpful. The place speaks for itself. Great furnishings and view. Unbeatable

Beautiful, modern and tranquil
An amazing upgrade of Pt Roberts classic beach cottage. Tastefully done, very clean and comfortable. The cottage is exactly as advertised with one queen (back bedroom) and two doubles.
We live in Pt Roberts full time and stayed while repairs were done to our place. We will remember this cottage the next time we have family / friends overflow.

A great place to vacation.
This cottage is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and clean. The views even from indoors, with its large expanse of floor to ceiling windows, are sweeping. Eagles soar, herons fish and sail boats drift by. I never got tired of looking. At low tide especially the beach walks are long and tranquille. As an artist I was energized and inspired by my month long stay at this great location.

The cottage is perfect. The view could not have been better.
We have spent time in Point Roberts before. A step back in time and a change of pace away from our connected world. The house is perfect for a couple or even a family. Perfect venue to de-stress.

We really enjoyed staying at this rental cottage for almost 4 months while our condo was being built. The cottage is on a large lot right on the ocean and the views and activity provided so much entertainment and serenity...day and night. In the late fall we enjoyed the wild storms and wind on the water. Great for storm watchers and photographers.
The kitchen has been renovated and was easy to work in and well equipped. The appliances are all new and of family size for preparing large meals. All the dishes ,platters, pots and pans are supplied for entertaining. The living area is a large open area with a very modern sectional grey leather sofa and a large wooden table .A very large TV is great for viewing and a good CD Player for your listening pleasure. There is a lovely old stone fireplace which has a modern insert for cool evenings and could set the mood for romance with its different colours in the background. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 are on the small size however it is a cottage and they have that cozy cottage feel. Another feature that must be mentioned is the bathroom, It is a lovely renovation with a very large shower and a nice smooth rocky floor. The house has a large basement which has a large heavy duty washer and dryer and loads of storage space. The huge deck overlooking the water is very nice as well as the outdoor wicker sofa and table. Situated on the Lawn there are 4 wooden chairs overlooking the ocean. I think the best feature of this home is the Nanowalls which open up completely to reveal the fantastic views of the ocean and beyond....allowing you to be one with nature!! The owners were quick to respond quickly to any needs and were just a phone call away. Our Golden Retriever just loved it.
Our favourite restaurants were Brewsters and South Beach Restaurant....great food, funky décor and friendly staff. Would love a return visit in the summer.

The Vibe – South Beach There are 9 original heritage oceanfront bungalows on this stretch of South Beach, originally built in the 1920s as summer retreats by Vancouver and New Westminster professional families. In the 1950s, owners purchased the road in front of the 9 properties and registered an agreement that nothing could ever be built to obstruct their connection to the ocean — which is why these homes still enjoy unobstructed waterfront access today.
This bungalow has been thoughtfully restored to blend historic West Coast character with a relaxed coastal feel. The design is simple, bright, and intentional — exposed beams, white interiors, sea-toned floors, and full glass nanowalls that open completely to the ocean so indoor and outdoor living become one continuous space. Relaxed luxury — comfortable, refined, connected to nature.
